I want to make 2 new horde toons and level them to 60. I am assuming that with RAF and with just being able to generally complete quests faster as a 2-man team, I would be able to level 2 60s much faster this way than leveling them separately. Is it worth going through the trouble to learn dual-boxing for the sake of saving time on leveling 2 characters to 60? I want to level a rogue and a hunter. And when they become 60, the plan is to have the hunter funnel DM tribute gear and gold to the rogue. I guess I am kind of looking for validation and for someone to lead me the right way. There is already too much stuff out there and it's information overload for someone like me who has never multi-box before. Thank you...

I had same idea 1 year ago, moved my priest to WOW2 so that I could do more stuff together with my mage. Downloaded ISBoxer and 2-box went to 3-box added a tank. Eventually started full party. Now have done several teams, also in classic. But yes it is quite a learning curve, often you are more 'playing' ISBoxer rather than Wow itself. It might not be for everyone.
So if you want to start simply, consider LevelBuddy

is it worth going through the trouble learning to multibox just to save time leveling 2 characters at once?
no
It's easy to learn though, and you could literally get the very basics down in about 30 minutes, enough so to level to 60 on classic.
There is a lot of information out there, but if i were new i'd only go to one place to learn, and holy moly is it well done. Here is the link.
