So the last time i had any fun pvping was running triple Marks at the beginning of BFA when /follow was working in arena and Marksman Aimed shot - doubletap could 3x instagib 1 enemy in a global from stealth. Soon enough /follow stopped working and I lost interest in wow for a while.
I did get extremely tempted to do arena again around mid BFA when Arcane mages were incredibly strong and even now considering Greater pyro, but never enough to commit.
Anyways i was just wondering if anyone at all is even touching arenas anymore, and what their experience without /follow has been like.

If you're referring to the follow-breaks-with-PvP-combat rule that now exists in all areas related to PvP, then yes, that was introduced in the BFA pre-patch, but, as far as I know, the follow function has never fully ceased to function in Arena, and there is still, at least, one person streaming themselves doing 3s in Arena, several times a week. I've watched their stream, and they're using follow, outside of combat, without any issues.
If you're not referring to that particular rule mentioned above, then you are the first person that I know of who has experienced, for at least a short period of time, the follow function not working while on an Arena map.
So, my non-Arena-experienced opinion would be... You should jump back in and play some Arena games if you have the desire to play some Arena games. https://www.dual-boxing.com/images/icons/icon14.png

Yah, im sorry i wasnt clear, in arena /follow works the same as wpvp warmode now.
Looking back it seems they just forgot to patch some areas for a short while and rectified it as they noticed.

Anybody know if it's the same in RBG? - I tried one at the start of this xpack and there was no follow (the same as any other BG) and so was simply me defending the flag with IWT!

Follow does not function on any battleground map - It's been this way since patch 5.2.

Thanks MiRaj. Was wrongly thinking RBG may follow Arena rulesets.. I had a good go at defending the flag room! haha

Haha thats good fun, ive had my share of those. That reminds me: i did some RBG on my own with 10 characters, back when /follow worked. It was hilarious watching the other team come riding spread out over the big field, and me there alone... with 9 others clumped up right behind me...riding towards their base.. looking like only 2 players from afar..then we met at the midfield.. lmao. The other team stopped up and looked at me.. for awhile... eventually a couple of them attacked, but a few quick flame shock and lava burst volleys "one shotted them" :) They then stood there around me...just out of my range... there was complete silence for awhile... you could feel the intense chatter they must have been having on their "ventrilo" hehe. Eventually they spreaded wide out and attacked from all directions.. using all kinds of CC and i was soon a gonner. I lolled so hard.

This so got me.. every single time when you're doing some WQ out in the open world. A couple of the opposite faction start clumping up, and just have that strange moment when you know they are going to attack, they don't know it yet - they're still assessing what's going on.
"Is it a bot? Are they farming, should I kill them".. Then BOOM! - They attack and die very fast.
I'm pretty experienced with wPvP so an unorganized group, even with similar numbers has no chance.
