What is the best way to deal with having an authenticator?

I have an authenticator (the app) and it hasn't bothered me until i began multiboxing.
Not only do i have to enter it every time i log in, i have to enter a different code for each account. Since the code only updates every 30 seconds or so, it takes about 2:30min to get logged in.
And to worsen the situation even more, half of my accounts just get disconnected after maybe 20 seconds after logging in, requiring a new authenticator code...

When i want to log into the battle.net website, the authenticator has this kind of "one-touch" feature. Can't this be enabled for wow? So i press one button in the app to confirm all logins?

That is correct, the one touch is basically a feature that once you login from a same ip, the auth is not needed anymore until you change your ip address.
I use all the time.

Unfortuntely, for dc part I also experience that on my retail toons from time to time. Most likely a warden security check.

So, how do i activate one-touch?
I haven't found any settings for that under "settings->security" in battle.net

Well, download the bnet application for mobile phones and auth it from there. You should not have any further issues.

Also, disable this option in your account settings under security:
Always require authenticator for login
Use the authenticator every time I log in to a game client or the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App.

I just checked and the option to require a code for every login is unchecked.
The bnet application? Do you mean the authenticator app? I am already using that one.
Or do you mean the actual Battle.net app that allows to chat with contacts?

Yeah, the bnet application. You should not that face such issue afaik. Do note, I mean the actual website login account and when you login to their website, under the security you'll find that option that I've posted earlier.

I never had "require authenticator for every login" checked.

I also have the battle.net app installed for a while now so i can chat with my friends while not playing.

Is there some kind of option to confirm login attempts in the battle.net app? Otherwise i am not sure if i understand what you mean.

The only reasons you'd be asked for an authenticator code every time you log in would be:


You have the option enabled, in your account, to do so
You are using multiple Battle.Net accounts

You already said that #1 isn't the case, so I assume it's #2. If you're using ISBoxer, then setup a Virtual File (https://isboxer.com/wiki/FAQ#Why_am_I_repeatedly_asked_for_an_authenticator _code_when_trying_to_log_in.3F). If you're not using ISBoxer, then either ask Blizzard to merge your accounts under one BNet, or drop the authenticator from some of them.

However, there's a third, bonus reason, and that's that your physical hardware or IP is changing, which I doubt you're doing between launching each game client, so it's not even worth mentioning. Unless, of course, you're running a multiple computer setup, in which case it is worth mentioning, which is why I mentioned it.

I am indeed using two battle.net accounts. I am using ISBoxer. Also i just use one machine.
So you are saying that the problem is that my "authenticator token" loses its validity when loggin in a different battle.net account from my ip?

Right, there's only one spot the game client puts it in the registry, but you can create more by virtualizing it, with ISBoxer.
