i'm doing 5 priests and i've seen one other mentioned in the forums. I've also coincidentally heard about another on my server but have never crossed paths with them. I get strange messages from people who think im them though lol.

5 holy novas, nope. Costs too much mana. It's double the mana cost of mage AE and 1/3rd the damage. Better off aoeing with SW:pain and saving the nova for healing and lesser mobs.

Doing any dungeons and if so, how are you doing? Five shadowpriests at cap is somewhat of a wet dream..

dungeons have been easy enough as holy that if i needed to grind them i could, but lacking aoe it is slow enough i've just stuck to questing. I wouldnt even try doing a dungeon as shadow before 40, it's very bad. Hot garbage bad. Holy is much better than shadow for leveling until 40, and at 50 i'm going to respec shadow and try dungeons since at that point i feel it will outpace holy. Mana is a huge issue as shadow, since spirit tap doesnt stack for us, while as holy mana isnt an issue at all. I'm stacking spirit gear so it's all gravy in every way. Pvp-wise i just laugh at everything except multiple skulls and most dont bother once they see me holy nova once and look immortal they go elsewhere.

At 60 and after getting most of my bis gear i feel it will pay off, and this group will be a pvp powerhouse. Priest was my vanilla class, they fit my playstyle and of my 3 teams i look forward mostly to this one, so much so that i might not play anything else when i get geared. If they somehow some way allow us to follow in BG's, i would be ecstatic, quit absolutely everything else, and the rank 14 grind would begin.

If shadow priests had some way of regenerating mana they'd be great fun for boxing. Unfortunately, they just go OOM so fast and their damage is pretty underwhelming. Warlocks are superior in every way.

I have 5 lowbies priest specced with holy nova, it works but as said above drains the mana super quickly. with good water though it does work and I suppose with a large mana pool or later some spirit/talent it may be more viable

back in bc/wotlk I did all the instances at level with that combo, but somehow in classic so far I haven't had that much fun with them (only level 22) - I may switch to shadow and passive healing ... tbd
