Guys, I know this has been asked at nauseam but I cant find any posts that ask the way I am interested in asking it.. So here goes:
I am looking to 5 box a team. I want it to be the best combo that can take me the farthest in the game and able to see and do the most content. I want to be able to clear instances, as many as possible, and not just out to farm gold and stuff. I really don't remember anything from the current expansion phase of WoW classic now so I need some input.... Also, since it has been a long time I would also like that group to be relatively easier to run than liek a super complicated position based team...
I was thinking just the simple Paladin/Priest/Warlock/Warlock/Mage - Seems to be able to do a lot based on other posts, just not sure how well. Or would something like Priest/Lock/Lock/Lock/Lock - or whatever. Any input on a good 5 to start me back in the game?
Thanks

I think it's hard to beat magex4+priest.
The best is just to look around on twitch and see what you like most.
There are streamers for every common 60 setup.
I have seen PLLLL / PMMMM / WMMMP / SWWWW etc.

Yeah I guess it’s not a direct answer. Like at current state of classic, what group makeup gets you the farthest to see the most of the game. Maybe there are multiple groups and not one dominant.
For example, I have read multiple posts that would say having “X Class”in your group doesn’t allow you to do certain areas. Other post that would say make sure you have these classes so you can finish this instance. I don’t want to run multiple teams so I just want to make sure the team I pick allows me to do the most and see the most in the game.

All the dungeons are designed around the Trinity design of Tank+Healer+3DPS and that is the wisest answer for those new to boxing and/or new to Classic.
Being able to hard stop a boss or hard-hitting mobs and then burn him/them down (Tank & Spank) from range relatively trivializes some encounters. Some folk with Tank+Healer+3DPS (ranged) actually find that it makes things too easy and then try other compositions for variety/challenges...

Go Alliance --> Warrior + 3 Mages + Holy Pala
Keep retribution aura up, put blessing of salvation on the mages, take arcane subtlety in the arcane tree
Warrior (main char): tank spec, battle/demo shout, tab targets --> sunder armor/revenge
Holy pala: spam flash of light on the tank / heal a mage if needed
Mages: trash groups --> spam arcane expl. (after the tank got some aggro) / bosses and harder trash --> single target frost bolt spam
All dungeons aoe-able (not every dungeon section is aoe-able regardless the mbox-team) --> all bosses stressless killable --> blessing of salvation = no threat issues

That makes a lot of sense. Think I will start with Pal/Priest/Mage/Mage/Mage and then as I get more into it I might create other teams.
One more question, is there a link that shows all instances and how to get to them/where they are located and what levels they are for?

The 'Dungeons' tab on the 'Classic WoW Planning' spreadsheet is probably the best place to start:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j6tc7Bi0WNN_NbplgM1mbKcJkv89c4EhbYDN18vuYA4/edit#gid=566752830
The list gives you the general consensus, mainly from fellow boxers, on which dungeons to run in which order by level range and faction (where faction matters). Various sources are linked that may be helpful for context/background.
Guides for the dungeons can be found via the orange highlighted link at the top of the sheet.
Maps for the dungeons can be found via the green highlighted link at the top of the sheet.
XP info for the dungeons can be found via the fuscia highlighted link at the top of the sheet.
The 'Levels' tab in the spreadsheet gives some perspectives on the instances as well.
The 'ToDo' tab in the spreadsheet has various links for things like World Travel (how to get to a given instance, etc).

Man oh man, so glad I asked these questions and so appreciate everyones answers. These answers will make a huge dif in my game and save me TONS of time. Thanks a bunch @nodoze and @Kraxx. So I know I said one last question but I actually have 3 more and then I will get into the game:
1. I really don't want to do all the same race. It always bothered me when I saw other people boxing like 15 Orc's or even a team of all Dwarfs that look the same... I was hoping to do one of each race for my team, but how realistic is it getting all 5 to meet up somewhere starting the game at level 1 and with no gold? Are there 2 or 3 races that could do it? Either Alliance or Horde, doesn't matter to me.
2. Anyone in a boxer only guild on a PVE server that is looking for a new member for his team?
3. All these Classic servers are time locked servers? Is there a page that lists when each expansion will come out?

1) IF you are going with a Paladin you have to be Alliance. For alliance if you follow the link on line one of the Dungeons tab for the FedEx info and meeting up it is easy for mixed races to group. That being said for Mages gnomes are best and for Priest Dwarf is by far the best (the racials matter). For healing Paladin Dwarf is better for PVP and human is better for offensive Paladin (though I still prefer Dwarf for the racial). If your party is dwarfs and gnomes you start together. If dwarf/gnome and human just take the tram from ironforge to strormwind. If Elf take the shortcut to ironforge, group with dwarfs/gnomes, tram to humans and then quest together.
2) This is the most up to date list of server activity: https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/55707-List-of-Classic-WoW-Multibox-Teams?highlight=list+teams
It likely needs updating so if folk know of updates please call them out.
3) All the servers have the same phases. Everything we know on phases is on the Phases tab of the spreadsheet:
