What’s your favorite thing to do / grind at 60?

So my warrior, 2x mage, warlock and priest team recently hit 60. I’m actually surprised that I’m bummed, I found that I think I almost like the leveling grind more than some of the other grinds. So I was curious - what are some of the things you are grinding now at 60?

That's seriously what I was considering doing... which is surprising because I thought I'd stop. But seems more fun to level. Was hoping I could find something to convince me otherwise :)

Leveling is killing me, i just want my WMMMP to be 60 already so I can funnel gear and gold to my Warlock main

Heh! I am making from 300-800 gold per hour in stratholme! If you're boxing for gold only, that's just dah! :) You'll reach 60, do 5 hours of strat run and you got like 3k gold + to buy anything and everything for your lock.

So far, I've spent around 5 or 6k gold on various things. Crafted 5x tailoring chest, bought 1000 invunerability pots, 1000 greater stoneshield pots, spent 1000g alone on wlocks that I don't play. Spent also around 1000g on various boes etc. Spent 500g on Frozen band. Big spender!

That should give you insight how much I make per hour :L)

I see on your YT chan that you spend approx 28mins to do a strat live run. This this mean given your estimation of GP/H (300-800g) that you make 150-400g a run? Never heard of those numbers before. What are orbs going for on your server? Currently 25g each on mine.

While I do believe he is making good gold I would be very surprised if its over 200 p/h sustained, this is including resets/repairing/time it takes to auction things

Other day I had 2 epic drops, a flask recipe, 10 green items, 3 orbs, 5-10 stacks of runecloth in a single run. Most of time I either get 2-4 orbs, pattern from last boss, some valuable greens that sell for nice gold, blues etc.

While I can't make estimate on a single run, doing 3-4 runs usually nets me 1300g or so combined with all loot. I don't need repairs or ah until my bags are completely full which usually takes 4-5 full runs depending on rng drops ( i discard food and items that don't yield at least 70 silver).

You have to understand that just blues from trash and bosses (bop) yields like 20-30g alone. Runecloth yields around 20g. Trash items yields alone 20,30g alone. Greens yield around 30-50g. Flask recipe yields anywhere from 100-200g.

Descent blues yield around 5-10g. Epics yield around 30-250g. Enchating recipes yield from 20-100g. Crusader orbs yield 30-35g. Pattern yields 50-70g.
That's alot of gold per single run (not saying that they all drop but in most of cases I get really valuable items).

You gotta remember, when you run this stuff solo in a group, you can make like 20-50g an hour. Now, he's running basically the leanest, most ideal multibox group for this sort of stuff, and he gets to keep all of it himself aka x5. I'm sure there is wild variance, but I'd guess he's making 200-300g/hr roughly, with the odd outlier run where he gets like a Krol Blade, or something else that will AH for hundreds of gold.

Is that the pve spec you used for leveling up to 60 also? Have you tried the frost spec by any chance with all the crits for aoe and can you compare it to arcane ? That arcane build must work really well!

Thanks man. Did you get Presence of mind first for SM and ZF before going deep on fire tree?

Peregrine, with this comp (no tank) were you able to kill all dungeon bosses or had to skip some during leveling? And now at 60?

Considering myself keeping my war or switching to a 3rd mage (I have a lock as well)

given that world epics are like 0.01 to 0.05% drops and distilled wisdom is 2% I'd take that with a grain of salt but else stratholme is nice to farm, I noticed a price increase for righteous orbs since dire maul is out, I suppose less people do start now

i sold an orb for 56g last night on Windseeker. A pristine Black Diamond for 23g

on a side note..i got MALOWENED! Damn that Postman! Not even going to bother with him. Also, i got two orbs off the trash in front of the building and forgot that you need the scarlet key to open the door!

well thats quite alot, last night on my realm there were only 2 in the AH for 30g each so I bought them and set the price for 50g now...will see how that works

well even though there are never more than 3 or 4 on the AH..they seem not to be selling. I have only had 3 toatl so far and only that one sold. Im going to try listing at 40 and see if they sell faster. must not be a ton of demand for them or every time I post one, all the cheap ones had just sold out hehe.

I usuallly sell em for 30-35 and they sell within few hours, never had one expire.

Rend is doable with the right gear or composition, using the seal of ascension to summon vaelstraz right before gyth dies is a nice little boost. Doubt the beast is doable due to fear and knock back and drakkisath 5 man probably requires so much gear you that you don't really need to do him

Herbs/Shards/Books and Arcane crystals not to mention close to same rate of drop for Epic BoE's and the Forors :))

Just run them slow enough not to instance cap... do these over and over and over... the way it's setup it's like a constant loop.
