Hello,
Wondering if anyone has some good tips to control each toon better, maybe some round robin you implemented to make your life easier.
I'm running WMMMP and often find my self panicing when warrior loses aggro or mages run out of mana or something dies.
I know I need something more to make my life easier, but I don't know what I need. My first step to improving my set up will be frost nova on round robin. Anyone using something else for more general control over sticky situations?
EDIT:
I use Clique with a repeater region for healing. But im running out of space for spells as the only system I'm aware of atm is using my 1-9 buttons across all characters. Sunder armor = fireballs, demoralizing shout = AE and holy nova etc

I have a programmable mouse (https://i.imgur.com/IIKi4td.jpg) with thumb buttons i set to shift. It doesnt take long to learn the muscle memory and now you've doubled your hotkeys by adding 1-9 + Shift buttons. You can make it easy by having all non modified abilities be offensive spells, and all Shift+ keys be defensive and heals. If you have a second thumb button on your mouse you can add Alt and triple your binds.
I do this because i also use a G13 pad instead of a keyboard for my game hotkeys and it essentially doubled my keys.
Some people use Gnome Sequencer Enhancer addon for 1 button rotations, it could help you a ton, i find classic simple to do with isboxer so i dont bother.

How can i get better at movment and such? I was thinking for example if I were to have Frost nova on Round Robin how would i handle movment good? Frost Nova then star formation to get out of melee range? that would work sometimes but still be clunky.

Then most of your sticky situations resolve themselves. As long as your tank has aggro and is in melee range, you can keep your mages on auto-follow and frost nova and AE on rotation and they shouldnt ever take any melee hits. For single targets just keep them back with your healer out of melee range, you shouldnt need to frost nova ever unless your kiting or going for shatter combos.
Maybe i'm misinterpreting what you're asking, and if so im sorry, but i'm guessing if you get better at tanking you'll work it out. If you're trying to play your 3 mages as well as a solo mage, i havent seen anything close to it being done by anybody. It's a weakness of /follow and having only 1 brain split among several characters.
There's a lot of videos here if you skim through this forum, and watching others do their thing is a great way to learn. Not to mention some twitch streamers with hundreds of hours of video. Probably going to be the best way to find your answers, and everyone has been really friendly about answering direct questions.

Bruce Lee (Peregrine) is very helpful and his twitch stream has lots of videos of how he has leveraged mages to get lots of things done even with no tank (his 2nd team to cap is 4Mages+Priest and his first team was 4Warlocks+Priest).
For easier content most of what I saw was AE & other AoE of groups followed by quick drinking and then rinse/repeat.
For other content he exercised precise control of up to 4 mobs prior to the pull (targeting all at once) and then sheeped them and then took down the remaining mobs (if any) one by one and then circled back killing each sheeped mob one by one as well (all single target focused).
Very impressive and he adapts to the content. An example of how he did harder content is here:
https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/56523-Dire-Maul-Tribute-run!
His twitch URL is the bottom of that first post and it has lots of videos of him leveling with lots of AE & other AoE...
The alternative approach that seems to speak better to me is to just Tank things and then AoE or focus fire targets depending on preference. If you are having trouble with aggro then I would tank and work on focus fire for a bit and see if that suits you. The advantage of that is that you should at most get 1 mob on your DPS at a time if they are only damaging 1 target at a time.

Get rid of your "turn character" keybinds and rebind WASD to ESDF. You should never keyboard turn anyway. This opens up QWAZXCVRTG and 123456 as convenient keybinds. Might take some time to get used to but it's well worth it in the long run. I also bind two of the thumb buttons on my mouse to shift and ctrl. This way I can hold either mouse button down while using my standard hotkeys to open up 30something additional keybind options without taking my hand off the movement keys.
There's no situation 5boxing classic you'd need 50+ keybinds. If you feel like you do, you're doing something wrong. I consolidate abilities into single and AE DPS rotation keymaps/macros bound to one of my mouse buttons so I can just hold it down while I focus on healing.

Am I retarded or do you have to do something special for it to work while just holding down a button?

"Repeat while held" is a software feature of most modern keyboards/mice. I've used Razer and Logitech and they both have this option.
It's no different really than just spamming the button repeatedly except without the RSI.

I believe "technically" repeating a key while holding it is considered by blizz to be automation. Not that they could tell, since mashing a key repeatedly does effectively the same thing, but I just thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

I've been using ESDF since the 90's, and gotta disagree with strafe instead of turn. Absolutely agree about ESDF though. Reason I disagree on turn vs strafe is simple. Right mouse makes turn strafe via mouselook. Turn + RMB gives more control than just strafe. I can travel with just the keyboard more efficiently with turn, while say rummaging my backpack, or sipping tea. Then, when I need the fine motor control, you just need to hold RMB. I will say this though, RMB to mouselook is completely second nature to me, due to OLD school games, even some FPS if I remember correctly, where mouse look was ONLY through RMB, so my brain is just trained to hold RMB for mouse look.
ESDF, 100%, whether you use turn or strafe, try both, and figure out which your brain likes more, but RMB+Turn does give you more hands off the mouse rest time overall.

What's stupid about this, is that they will not ban you for using any officially sanctioned products that can perform exactly this sort of stuff like a logitech programmable keyboard, but if you did exactly the same stuff that that keyboard can do, with say autohotkey, you better be careful.
