Hello friends,

I have never multiboxed before but I am very intressted in it. You see I'm getting bored of wow and only log in to raid mc and ony atm.
I was thinking to start a new account inorder to get more gold.

First I thougt 1 mage to AoE farm, then i realized I could make 2 mages and level faster. But i dont know if that will actually be faster. (plan on using isboxer).

But i have now kind of decided on making a healer on my other account so i can boost my 60 lock in mara/dm farms. So my question is, What class do i pair with my healer for fastest exp. My goal is simply to get my healer to 60 to help my lock get more gold, also fun along the way trying out dual boxing.

Maybe 2 feral druids would be easy to control and fast to level? Then switch to healer at 60 and go farming with my lock.

TL;DR I want to make a healer to get 60 asap and I dont know what class to pair it with for fastest exp duo boxing.

Mage is probably fastest duo partner. You will want to aoe grind, the priest won't offer much, but nothing is going to grind solo as fast as the mage.

Level a druid solo, its way faster than dual boxing and ferals have almost no downtime. If you insist on dual boxing, then I'd suggest shaman warrior, WF from lvl 32 on is just insane. Mobs literally explode.

@Mercwarriors suggestion: Mage AoE grind is also fast, if your server allows for it. On mine the spots are always taken..

What about a hunter druid combo?

The down time might be low but leveling 2 characters at once means mobs die quicker, no need to find help on harder quests. Ive scoured through the forums and people seem to have diffrent opinions wheter solo or duo is faster.

Single or duo cats should be very fast as good movement speed, good damage, & healing resource is separate from your damage resource...

I don't think Duo druids would be significantly slower than single druid as things will die faster with close to double damage plus you get some bonus XP which should offset at least some duplicity overhead.

If you are on a contested PVP server (or worse dominated by the other faction) Druids can stealth and level OK outside of instances...

If that isn't a big consideration then Mage+Priest can be pretty fast as well as you get free water/food along the way and even at cap your Mage can provide some usefulness via at least water+food for your Warlock+Priest at cap (and a buff on the Priest before switching the Mage to the Warlock).

Hunter+Druid should also be a decently fast team. Solo Hunters are very fast to begin with and have a built in limited Trinity and Druid only makes it stronger (MotW, Thorns, Hots, direct-Heals, extra DPS, etc).

I've never multiboxed before. How hard is it to cooridnate a pr and mage? Would I be able to participate in the infamous SM and ZF aoe farm groups?
