I haven't been sleeping much, with interrupted sleep from my 2 year old son. So last night, I was up at around 3:30 AM, couldn't get back to sleep, so I stayed up.

Before getting ready for work, I played 4 or so AVs.

On my way to work, I looked at my rear-view mirror, expecting to see 4 Elekks trailing behind me. Didn't see them, thought, "Damn it, they broke follow". I was about to turn around and had my finger ready to hit the "/follow" macro, then I realized I was in my car driving.

That's pretty crazy, I don't think I've ever had an out of game Dual-Boxing experience, at least that I know of.

The only similiar thing that happens to me is I'll catch my self hitting "Pause/Break" before typing words on my computer....even though I'm just using email. Ha ha.

Ha ha.I find myself hitting print screen to override when I'm working in two or more RDP sessions on the same monitor which is about 90% of the time. ../forum/images/smilies/whistling.png

haha sadly I've had the same experience, though much less severe, lol. When ever I get up to go to the bathroom I always feel as though I should be washing my hands 4 times (I run with 4 shaman).

I definately do the "Insert Wierd Key Combination Here" at work & usually when a Co-worker needs something in a hurry. My WOW Key combo's are more natural than the shortcuts at work.

I don't however look in my rearview (I know they are following me & I pretend to ignore it).

Alright I may be addicted to WoW but some of you ppl sound like freaks :D

I do from time to time hold down the left alt button (vent binding) when talking to someone in my room while on my computer :P

I remember back when I played Diablo 2... a LOT. I was at work once and I swear to god I seen a bright blue mana pot under a desk.... I actually moved toward it like I was going to loot it, I actually felt a sense of urgency! Only the slightest movement mind you, then I came to my senses. It was very embarrassing, even though I was the only one who knew what had happened!... LOL

Had a guy one night that pressed his mic button to yell at his dog, not once but twice. Keep in mind this is during a boss fight back in MC days so 39 people were paying attention at the time and did nothing but laugh, after the second time someone mentioned what he had done and realized everyone was laughing at him.

heh my vent key is middle mouse, my brother and I live in the same house but different rooms and talk on vent mainly.

well, we had a guildy we were having issues with, and my brother and I had been talking about him. Said guildy joined vent, so brother comes into my room. I then continued the conversation holding the mouse button for my end of the convo, sadly I didnt read the pms I was getting from other guildys till it was too late.

Needless to say the problem worked itself out hehe

Well I guess I have to blame my suddenly waking up :).

Iva had the Vent thingi a few times when ive actualy was talking to others in the room and didnt even have vent open at the comp.

But reading throught all this remainded me that back when i was playing warcraft 3 alot. If i had playeing alot just before i went to sleep i could find myself in a half sleeping condition where i was sorta still playing war3 in my main.. It happend a few times and it really scared me..
But if you think about it.. When you go to sleep you normaly think about things that have happen that day. And lets say that if you had not been gaming that day it would have been something like "yeah i got up, went to work, this guy said that, and i said that and then i did that and bla bla bla" while if you was gaming alot just before you go to sleep and that was mainly what happen that day, then you might start to think about the game in that way, and when you start to move thing and cheack up on followings and imagion you have to press that button etc it get really scary as it seems so wrong. And if you lack sleep in some ways you might start to do this while doing other thing like when you drive to work as of lack of sleep etc... i dont know.. but it all seems really scary and i hope that i wont get any other things that wanting to press my vent key now and then when i speak.. hehe

Think my worse warcraft response outside the game was. I had just got a fancy new cellphone....and had set the murloc agro sound as my alarm when i get txt messages. Well the next day im at work takeing a piss and I hear one pissed off murloc echoing in the restroom.....Lets just say im glad it was a public resttroom cuz it startled the shit out of me....jerked around and everything...made a mess..i was ready to grab my keyboard and start fighting. After i remebered it was my phone i was embarresed/laughing @ my self for the next 5 min.....i was just lucky i was in there alone.

I just can't NOT do this. Even though I can logically thing through it I keep trying to pan around, right click, hover over objects, etc.

Guilty of this, AND from trying to move my camera via mouse while watching my own music & raid videos...lol

Guilty. I occasionally find myself hovering over players in videos/screenshots to see their stats. LOL

Don't listen to these people. It's not WoW you need a break from it's the 2 year old!

I'm going through this right now (2am every night)... Oddly enough, we didn't learn our lesson and will have another in a few weeks...
