Hello,

First time exploring the world of boxing and got myself 2 accounts. I see most people are running 5 man setups.

Is it worth boxing as a 2 man setup?

Primary reason would be to play both characters at max level (pvp and raiding single play) and do jump runs (Thinking of warrior + Healer)

How much quicker would a dual box setup help and can someone point me towards a good setup guide for dualboxing primarily over multibox.

Dualboxing is worth it if you can only stand doing things at your own pace, otherwise there arent many benefits over soling. Tri-boxing is amazing when you have friends online to do things together. Tri-boxing same spec dps is really easy to raid on as well. I find Tri-boxing to be the sweet spot where the benefits begin to really outway soloing. If you're set on dualboxing i'd suggest classes that can heal and tank. Druid is a great duo since it covers every spec and has stealth for skips.

what do you think the difference in leveling speed would be if i dual warrior + shaman/priest and if it level them separately?

Also any place you can point me specifically for dual boxing rather than multi.

Thanks

Leveling them together is much faster than 2 separate.

This guy focuses specifically on duo's and leveling.

Yeah i saw his duo suggestions, i was more looking towards how to set up dual boxing etc and where to start. Some people say use hotkeynet some are saying ISboxer is worth it etc.

Is there any templates for any that requires less setups? Im not too techinical to configure so.

I dualboxed when classic launched as a warrior/paladin up to 24 an war/shaman up to 36. War/shaman was fast from level 1 and amazing when I got cleave/ww/sweeping strikes, but mobs that ensnare you like STV trolls make your life a miserable experience. War/pal was very slow at the start but paladin damage is irrelevant later when your warrior can cleave.

Shaman will be faster, priest is much better on pvp servers.

Try Levelbuddy, it is a new software and completely free, I used it for dualboxing on Classic because of it's simplicity and have moved to Isboxer for my 5 man team.

Running dungeons cleaves will make you level a lot faster, so I recommend a warrior+shaman/pala for melee cleave (so when you tank with a warrior mobs dont run away) with a priest you cant really do dungeons without people laughing at you

Sounds promising, i was leaning towards warrior priest though since i kinda dont see myself playing a shaman at max level compared to a priest.

Level buddy is same as Isboxer? I dont mind the fee btw i just want something easy to setup and go.

Levelbuddy is a keystroke replicator with a few optional scripts, it has only 1 window and is very easy to set up.

Priest is the best overall warrior healer on horde and defensive dispell is necessary for warrior in pvp, it's just that your damage will suck before you get shadowform and forming dungeon groups will be hard.

I did not plan to play my shaman much, he was gonna be my jump run healbot, and he made warrior leveling actually really fun

Hm i think youre convincing me to go shaman.. im guessing in dungeons its also easier to get few more melee and just bind chain heal to something to group heal.

Mind sharing what you bind-shared between warrior shaman

I actually had seperate keybinds for both characters, and had targeting macros for shaman heals, so I had normal healing wave and 2 more macros to cast on warrior and shaman. In dungeons I used shaman as a single target dps, always had flametounge/windfury totem and kept spare mana in case I need to help with healing.

If I went back to this combo I would also add macros to cast heals on party members, like F1-F5, and remap mouse side buttons to Shift/Ctrl/Alt so I could use every button for 4 different abilities (I did it for my 5 man team, and it so good after getting used to it).
