Wpvp Comp. Question

Hey there, very new to all of this and was thinking about starting some alliance characters. I know shammies would be my best bet for horde but wasn't sure about alliance. Currently have four accounts but would be willing to do five. Any suggestions you folks have would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Any comps in particular you'd suggest that are strong? I thought about paladins but wasn't too sure. The dots from lock seem like they could be really nice as well but I know soul shards could be a problem. I found a lot of other threads regarding pve but not much in terms of pvp.

It seems like lots of folk are liking 4 Warlocks+Priest for boxing in WPVP as the Priest can boost the damage of the locks & they can dot on the run and don't even have to face the target(s). They have both AoE heals, AoE damage, & AoE fear if people charge in on you and even if they get in close Warlocks can be pretty tanky (plus soulstones).

Another interesting team is 3Warlocks+Priest+Paladin as you have no pushback due to Concentration Aura and have 2 Healers for WPVP and you can far PVE as either an AoE team or a more traditional Tank+Healer+3DPS team with the Paladin Tanking...

Personally I am a fan of Shaman (especially if boxing 5+) for WPVP and I really enjoyed 10boxing Shaman in BC through WoTLK.

Note that those are both teams that do well and both large scale and small scale PVP...

My main team is 3Warriors+2Paladin which really is best for small scale WPVP which is OK as my main goal is having at least 2 Paladins & 1 Warrior for mains for my brother and I (my brother will queue BGs all day on his Paladin when doing PuGs & I am hoping he will queue Warrior when I bring my Paladin to heal).

Once I get my main team to cap I may reactivate my 5 other accounts and do a 4Warlock+Priest team (or 3Warlock+Mage+Priest just so I have a mage at cap).

one more to add to nodoze list is 4mages 1priest. PoM pyros can just make people evaporate. You can PoM Pyro 4 different targets and kill them all almost simultaneously. After getting hit by this team you'd probably get denied at the spirit healer and have to make a deal with Bwonsamdi in order to get a rez.
