Need Help setting up Mice

Ok all I need some help, I am currently software boxing and I am working on making the move to hardware boxing. I have read Xzin wonderful Multiboxing Wiki in the general forums, Link to thread ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=410') (BTW this is a wonderful write up). I understand everything there except how to set up the mouse. I want to go with a wired mouse, (Reasons is I currently have a wireless G7 and every so often it stops responding). So if somebody could shed some light on this subject for me that would be great.

What do you mean you are having trouble setting up the mice? What exactly are you trying to achieve?

What I want to be able to do is control my Main with a mouse and when my Main dies have the ability to switch to different computer and have full control with my mouse on that computer. Also I have not purchased anything just gathering information so I am cam make a informed decision on what to buy

All I have semi experience with is Synergy in desktop modus at work. And not while multiboxing. :p

I heard synergy bugs a bit with the drag & drop in WoW though, not entirely sure the specifics of the bugs. And heard there are other ways of accomplishing that.

Alternatively, if it is just for switching, you can just get a KM switch for your mouse. But it does require a bit more input from you, whereas with synergy you can just move your mouse to other screens, with a km switch you have to.. well.. km switch, and then your mouse is on the other screen. :p

Synergy is buggy. People have reported that Mulplicity works far better.
