I'm boxing a pally tank / mage x3 and priest for heals and was curious if its possible to make a macro or mod i guess that does nothing but make a visual display of a cooldown timer...

i have a g11 keyboard and using the G1-12 keys on the side for my mages dps but it would be much much more affective if i could not only put a small box of 'mirror' macros on my mains GUI that did nothing but give me a visual countdown of the cooldown timer (say for fire blast) so i could see when it was available again... anyone tinkered with something of the sort?

simple answer: no

Detailed answer: This is more in the realms of an addon. There may be something out there already but I am not aware of it.

If i understand what u want (my bad no your :D) you can install this add on : http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8258-PartyAbilityBars.html in main and toon client, set the ability u want see cooldown and the mod do a little bar with icon of the spell of your toon and the cooldown.

I hope this mod help :)

Can't some of the timer mods do that? For example, DoTimer ('http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3260/') says that it "lets you send your timers from DoTimer and Cooldowns to other people."

Oooh, I didn't see Ang's response. The PartyBars mod looks cool too.

Almost all addons that let you modify the bars do this. I use BarTender and one of the options is to show the cooldown as a number.

If it CAN be done with an addon someone who multiboxes will have to do it.

Wow Ang this def looks like it has potential... haven't tried it yet but "Party Ability Bars is intended for arena use to track party member ability cooldowns. A party member is required to have the mod if you want to track the member's cooldowns." whoot for not having to write a mod from scratch :D

the funniest part is this mod was intended to track your team members mods in arena... lol imo im u have to tell ur partner how to play his toon yall are already sol >.< maybe it would be a good way for them to learn lol but still im not complaning!! lol

thanks again!
