Hi everyone,

Been a long time, but back for Classic and having a blast. Could someone refresh my memory on how to setup your screen so you can see the party on your main screen (I have a pally tank), click someone when they need a heal and the Priest is doing the healing? I forgot how to set this up and what it is called.

What addon are you using and what ISBoxer feature is it that allows you to see part of the Priest's screen, click someone who needs a heal and the Priest is actually doing the healing for you.

Hope that makes sense. Any videos of this in action or how to set it up would be awesome. Or, just the name of the healing addon you are using, frame addon or bar addon and what the ISBoxer feature is called.

Thanks for the help.

Check out the excellent tutorial video made by Dalo. At work atm but just search for him on YouTube.

There are many addons for healing (VuhDo, Clique, healbot, etc). Personally I like healbot but had lua issues with it in Classic an thus have been using VuhDo which I also like. There are advanced features I like in VuhDo which I don't know can be replicated in Clique so I will likely stay with VuhDo.

There are 2 ways to reach from a main foreground window to a background window (repeater regions and Video fx) and Dalo alludes to both options shortly after 3:53 in his video:

Repeater regions are probably easier overall and there is some elegance to the simplicity of the setup with Clique that Dalo demonstrates.

VideoFX (VFX) does more advanced things than repeater regions in that, rather than just repeating input from your forground window to a background window, it actually brings the video from the background into your foreground (and you can magnify or shrink to your taste) and you can choose to make it interact-able such that you can send commands though it.

In my setup I have 2 Healers so the simple setup won't work for me plus I like being able to use the standard raid frame on my tank... I also want some things the standard UI won't do that VuhDo can do. As an example, in this screenshot, I have 5 VFX regions on my main character window:

Next to the standard raid frame I have 2 VFXs to the VuhDo areas on both of my healers side by side. Both healer are setup similarly (except they cast different buffs) and I enlarged the mana bars so I could monitor them easier in big fights.

Next to the navigation window I have 3 more VFXs which bring in feeds from 3 of my background clients so I can easily see Herbs, Mining nodes, & Treasure (from my Dwarf). I drive my team from this lead Warrior & both skin & loot from this main foreground window but can easily see other gold making opportunities this way. I also made these interactive so I could, from my main window, mouse over the node and see if what it is without heading over there (or without switching to the background client to check).

I then went and setup the dual-healing VFXs on each client so I could heal from both healers from any window (on each Healer I only VFX in the other healer) and this has been great for times when I need to switch to a different Tank (all of my Warriors can tank if/as needed).

Lastly in ISboxer I setup a hot key to hide/show VFX regions when I don't need/want them.
