At first I wanted to go 3 mages, but then I thought about the utility a warlock provides (port to sell stuff, summon back - soulstone priest if a pull goes wrong) and so I added him in. I didn't know hellfire would be so freaking powerful so I am even more happy I went warlock lol.

When helping people with group compositions the juxtaposition is typically rotation simplicity and slightly higher DPS from all Mages versus utility from Warlock and my recommendations have been typically Warlock is more than worth it.

Just your Eye of Killrog videos pretty much seals the deal for me!

I just put out a SM graveyard video where the mobs are yellow. At the end of the day it's all about xp per hour. Even though I can do yellows, these greens are actually more xp because they die so quickly, you can pull a ton, and you barely have to recover mana because they get melted so quickly. 2.5k xp in 4 minutes is nuts for a multibox at this level.

The only addon I have in this video that I would suggest is the Clique addon for click to heal on the driver. I am switching to using elv UI - this addon seems to have everything you will need except for a DPS meter.

Great stuff. When i use VFX to heal via Vudhu .. i have to click more than once sometimes..on live that is not an issue. Do you have that issue?

I may try this out today. Could easily swap out my shaman for a priest and my rogue for a mage. Watching one of the RFK videos and seeing your xp bar after 1 pull made me think of how that took my group about 2 hours to get.

Level 60 fast > a dream comp. I can always boost my favorite classes later.

... When i use VFX to heal via Vudhu .. i have to click more than once sometimes... Do you have that issue?I don't think I have had to click more than once if I for sure had my pointer on the middle of the character bar. Sometimes when I am in a hurry I heal the wrong character or don't heal if I am on the edge but haven't noticed it not actually heal through VFX if I for sure clicked inside the bar...

One thing I have noticed is that, when sending a click through VFX via my mouse, if I also try to move my main character via keyboard (strafe or whatever) the commands get sent to my background client I am VFXing to... If I have the movement key(s) held down when I move my mouse away from the VFX region they background client thinks I still have the movement key(s) still pushed down... This can be problematic as one of my healers then just takes off running... I can issue Alt-F to get him to briefly turn-around and come back but then he immediately turns and keeps running so I have to keep doing that until I can get to my healer and issue movement keys to cancel the stuck movment...

I pretty much am used to this by now and thus it rarely happens but it is annoying and I don't like having to restrict movement on my lead character. With that in mind I am thinking of keeping VuhDo but replacing VFX with a repeater region. I would either line it up from my main raid frame (maybe make it wider) or setup a non functional VuhDo on my Warrior(s) and place them in the same spots and then use repeater region to send the clicks to the background healer(s).

For reference I VFX the VuhDo region from both of my Healers to all of my 5 characters (on the healers I only VFX the other healer).

Keeping heals up on tank and warlock is getting kinda hard in cathedral, maybe because I am getting aoed, but I had to downrank to hellfire rank 1. I could see more warlocks and spamming prayer of healing possibly working? In armory I think you could do 2 warlocks, but I bet it will get harder as the dungeons get up there, and stuff having more annoying abilities.

I have the casting bar of my healer VFXed just so I know when the heals are going through. The only time I have a problem healing is when the healer gets silenced, or he is wanding and I need to break the channel to get him to heal by moving.

I started at 30, but you could probably start earlier. I didn't think the tank could stay alive so well like this so I didn't really test it. This video was basically the very first time I tried it. It actually has been getting easier and easier, but after zulfarrak I don't know if those higher dungeons will be doable. I do 100 percent believe AOE comps are gonna be best money makers, but 5 shamans is a dirty comp for PVP, and if you made it to 40 you mise well go to 60 haha. If you do switch, It wasn't all a waste because now you got 5 accounts that can do passive skills for $$$ :)

As far as experience, getting up to 30 should get you enough experience with the classes to do this. It's all the experience I had, and I am very new to WoW haha.

Thats great to hear, about you being newer to WoW. Yeah, I certainly won’t be abandoning the shamans or anything but going through and killing stuff 1-2 at a time is tedious. You say that you’re not sure you’ll be able to AoE the higher dungeons but your comps should be able to go through like I am, pack by pack, yeah? Have you tried killing bosses? I’m barely able to kill Herod (well, at 38-39. Haven’t tried at 40).

Wizards are a problem if you don't nuke them down immediately. For normal mage/lock groups, they tend to keep distance, everything nova'd and kill it outside of the aoe range. For a boxer if you're not really careful/aware of the wizards, two of them can wipe you out in a matter of seconds if they go arcane explosion happy.

Yea exactly! I started keeping my AOE dps a little further from the corner and making sure my warrior gets a lot of threat on them, so they don't run in the middle going acrcane explosion crazy.

Essentially you setup a repeater region on your warrior that when you click there it clicks in the background on your healer.

You can also use isboxer and create a custom button menu that sends the command only to your members of your action group to heal a specific character, or slot, with a specific action.

I tend to to do main healing and emergency, and switch to heal view if things get nuts
