What an emotional rollercoaster

Phew. I went to stand in queue for the last part of Defense of the King's Lands in Loch Modan, and when it was my turn, another group showed up. When they realized I was a multiboxer, one of them started to lay into me: "Cheater, filthy multi, rich bastard etc...". It didn't feel good. Naturally, they didn't respect the queue and went on to tag the mobs and left me to wait another five minutes.

A minute later, another group showed up. One of them also recognized the likeness of my characters' names, and said: "WTF cheater" or something to the like. However, this time, one of the others came to my defense! "That's not cheating, he's just playing five accounts." Turns out, the other guy hadn't heard of multiboxing and assumed I was botting — easy mistake. So they waited for me to get the quest when they spawned and kindly declined my offer to stay and help them for the next spawn.

Really different experiences with people :D

I've realized that most people have crappy and ignorant opinions which aren't worth consideration. Kind of like real life.

Best results I get are usually from visibly having fun. /dance emotes do well, as do /laughs and /chuckles. Social anonymity toxicity's antidote is people being nice and showing that they're having fun regardless of the chumps. ;) Doesn't take long for others to notice the grumpycats in the area.
