Hey guys.

I just began this, and I'm having a BLAST. It feels like some new drug...exciting...and keep thinking "I want more!"

I started up 3 mages...got them to 10 and got used to the idea of it. Then rolled some shaman girls.

I'm having a BLAST.

Right now, I'm running them all on one machine. I keep the windows small, the main one a bit bigger..and the other two kinda tiled behind for easy clicking on them. I think 3 is probably all I could do at once on this machine. I don't have framerate issues except in Shat. But...I want more.

Trouble with that is that I'm not real hardware savvy. My fiance just bought a new machine. So I do have his sitting here, available...also his unused monitor. I'll have to do a bit more reading to learn how to utilize these tools. But I think I will upgrade to 5 when after I teach myself more.


Only frustrating thing for me right now is the idiots. "hax" "reported"...Ugh.

Their guild name is <Three Non Bots>. I liked the blue so much that I kept the skirts and put spellthread on them. Fashion > Function?

I wanted to hook up the other monitor. Turn off system, plug it in.

Fire up the machine. (Vista)

Right click -> NVIDIA settings -> Set up multiple displays ...stop.

It's not recognizing that there's a screen plugged into the other monitor port.

Hmm...maybe it's the monitor? So I shut down and switch...secondary works fine. Try to set up again this way...same thing. It's acting like a dead port.

Am I missing something?

All I can think of is that there could be something wrong with that port, or it could be disabled. Though, I know nothing about this sort of thing so it is just a guess. Is it listed in your Control Panel > System > Device Manager? If so, check it's status to see if it's running the way it should be. That's all I can think of.

I'm currently running two PCs so I can run two monitors. That way my main can have it's settings maxxed out, while the clones are on the 2nd pc :)

Thers your problem right there :)Typical Vista hater. I run Vista with 5 instances of WoW and two monitors without any problems. It does require a bit more RAM though then if you were using XP, but I like some of the other features I get enough to deal with the RAM hit.

Got it figured out...I was being a dunce and using the disabled motherboard port...So ..since I lose cables like mad...(toddlers)...I ran to best buy to get a new dvi cable for the second monitor. Viola.

Also grabbed 2 more gigs of ram and 2 more wow's....I'm such a sucker.

I think the 4 locks/1 priest will be fun. <giggles with glee>.

I was considering this for PvP. One draenei female would be very easy to fit inside the hitbox of a draenei male.

But then again, your main will stick out like a sore thumb for the smart tab-targeters

And yeah everyone starts with like 2-3....and ends up with 5 its like evolution.

I originally started with 2....then 3....then 4....then 5.... My girls are now lvl 51,50,50,50,50 (damn close to ding) Im psyched about doing BC content with them. Its a little more grown up out there.

Might i suggest you get a wardrobe/itemrack etc so you can strip all 5 with 1 key and distract any potentional reporters :D
