Yeah it should be good, I have not done AV's yet on Magtheridon but I have heard lately via battlegroup forums that horde has been winning on ruin since 2.4.

I worked extra hard today at work so I can take tomorrow off and farm :). My shamans just hit 68 so I cant use the items yet though.

AV is two brackets.

51-60 and 61-70.

The 61-70 bracket is genuinly -much- more active. So if honor is what you want, 61 is better then being 60. :p But you'll be up against epic geared level 70's. :p

I ran a bunch of Av's yesterday on Ruin. Horde only won 2 of them. Alliance seem to have a good attack plan on that battlegroup. My old group, stormstrike, alliance sucked. Horde would win everything and that made alliance boycott av. QUes were 2hrs before patch 2.4. Ques on ruin are instant so even though we lose the honor per hour is still decent.

Yeah there were a lot of horde AV's in our battle group on the weekend going for the quick loss - kill Bal, then rush to SP and attack ally base. Personally I think this method sucks - in many games we ended up with little bonus honor because no one bothered to stay in the bunkers after capping, and the alliance duly came back and re-capped them.

Defending the choke is great - it not only means a winning game for horde, but also racking up stacks of HK's for me.

Highlight of the weekend - defending Galv by myself against 5 waves of alliance before they got pissed and zerged me with 15+ players. :D

Wish I could have played more, but my folks we in town - I had to play host for most of the weekend.

Ive been on LAN for the whole weekend manage to get 2 Gla. parts (got 4 now) and level my 3x boomkin combo a few levels, so im happy :D
