NOTE: The purpose of this thread is help maintain a list of planned Multi-box teams for Classic World of Warcraft. This hopefully will help Multi-boxers congregate and collaborate and maybe join forces (or have fun fights) from time to time with the hopes for a strong Community. It may help us clear things like 10man UBRS and maybe even parts of 40man Raids as otherwise our progression by ourselves will be very limited. Maybe our Mains that plan to Raid can all join the same Raiding guild.

The team list is is growing fast (40+ so far) and is dynamically changing as each boxer can manually update/maintain their own teams (if they book-marked their team when submitting as was recommended above). To promote Community I recommend we also try to designate a PVP and a PVE server we all try to be on together.

To promote Community I recommend a main guild for each Faction that our teams can be in together (for those that want to do that).

I have not decided on Undead or troll for my priest. I want undead but troll would be amazing. Hex of weakness -20% healing from any sources and -2 to -20 damage done on everyone that I dot up. Shadowguard procs on all attacks with 3 charges, Touch of weakness is only on melee with 1 charge.
Don't really want to lose WotF and Devouring Plague though...

Locks spec is unsure also, going to lvl as destro I think, pvp as dotters I think but might go soul link for survivability.

Druid is going feral (14/32/5 I think) for lvling and gearing but then resto (maybe 13/0/38) for pvp. Might go a hybrid build to be able to do decent tanking and decent healing depending on situation.

Might be good to go 10 points in feral for bonus armor and could use demoralizing roar for -182 ap then, combined with -20 damage from hex of weakness it might really reduce damage.
Also read this about hex of weakness "the damage penalty now stacks with either Touch of Weakness or Curse of Weakness" so might be able to stack -20 damage from hex, -37 damage from curse, -182 ap (~13 auto attack dps I think) all at the same time.

For your 2nd group I would consider swapping in 2 Druids to give your remaining 3 Rogues a simultaneous Tank and Healer option (for a full Trinity Tank+Healer+3DPS setup) yet retain stealth for the entire group.

Alternatively you could just swap in one druid for leveling and then use the Druid from your first party at cap. At cap this would still give you a standard full stealth Trinity (Tank+Healer+3DPS setup) though that would make leveling by instances more problematic by just having 4DPS+Tank or 4DPS+Healer. You could try to be a self-healing tank but shifting forms could be problematic or just make sure you are higher level than the content and mainly heal between pulls.

That second approach would leave you with an extra Rogue on your 1st Party's Druid account which may not be that useful considering you have 3 others unless you just really want to have some 4 Rogue+X options somewhere (I am not sure what content 4Rogues+X would substantially be better than 3Rogues+X+Y). Instead of a 4th Rogue you could put some other class just to have options and piggy-back that class on the leveling of the Druid+3 Rogue group. Warrior comes to mind if you want to have one as they are a pain to level solo and otherwise having another caster could give you a 4Caster+Healer setup for Raids that are amenable to boxing (or for maximizing 10manUBRS if someone else is bringing a Trinity setup).

I debated on multiple options but in the end I really wanted the info for each team to fit on one line so it would be easier to see trends. I have done this before in other games and 1 line is so much better. At some point I may import the data into a spreadsheet for more analysis.

So far the two Druid specs I plan to run with are:

While leveling max Feral Bear w/Leader of the Pack: 14/33/4 (https://classicdb.ch/?talent#0zLVcoZxxxscMdtL) but I have been thinking of swapping 1 point from something like Thick Hide into Improved Mark of the Wild to buff the overall party slightly (assuming the Tank is having no real issues and losing a little armor is OK) but maybe there is a better swap/build.

Initially at cap I plan to run the classic 0/30/21 (https://classicdb.ch/?talent#0ZxxhscMdxVxckxo) for having a full Healer and full Tank option without having to change specs.

When battle grounds are released, for Flag Running in Warsong Gulch, I may switch to a something like 1/29/21 (https://classicdb.ch/?talent#0zZVRgscMzLVEM0co) where I try to conserve Rage for Frenzied Regeneration, emphasize things like getting the most out of HoTs, minimize interruptability, maximize stun and debuffing the enemy etc... Basically it sacrifices much to focus on running away and surviving & being a general PiTA bear. Also good for being a scout in World PVP.

When you get a chance please post your 14/32/5 for lvling/gearing & cap resto 13/0/38 builds as I would love to study them.

I'm going to try to zerg dungeons with this melee cleave to level up to 60, where I want to use the group to farm and support my main, which will be a Fury Warrior. I would love to get into BGs but (being fairly new to boxing) I'm intimidated trying to play in an environment where follow is disabled.

Sounds like you are going for a solid Trinity of Paladin Tank, Paladin Healer & 3 DPS (Warlock & 2 Mages).

Having a full party of shorties (all Dwarves & Gnomes) could be pretty cool and nice that they all start in the same starting area.

Would you consider any of those party members your "Main" ?

note: the BG column doesn't quite make sense... you can't really reply Y unless Y means yes if blizz puts back follow there, in which case change my ? to YYes you are correct regarding the BG slot and pretty much I was expecting Main only, No (for those that just don't like BGs) or unknown. If anyone replied Yes I would then inquire further to see if they were aware that /follow isn't working and if they had a strategy to try to work around that.

Agreed the format can be difficult at first. I considered multiple options and in the end felt it best to get it to all to fit into one line so patterns would be easier to see.

I did try to make it clear that people could just list their team in a more conventional format and that I would be happy to convert it for them with this in the instructions:

Playing on NA EST server as alliance. Recently, there's been talk and videos about the viability of dungeon leveling in a group from the beta so I decided I would 5 box dungeons to level to 60. Planning on maining a warrior at for raiding at 60 and using the 5-box crew for gold/rep farming :)

If by PDG you mean Priest Discipline and Gnome I respectfully recommend you look at doing Dwarf instead to be able to give Fear Ward to your group (& get an extra instant self-heal as well). Dwarves are by far the best Priests in the game.

Since we are using P for Paladin I went and changed your entry from PDG to TDG for PriesT for now. Let me know if I interpreted that incorrectly and whether you change from Gnome Priest to Dwarf Priest...

EDIT: Heads up that after multiple requests I went ahead and created a Google Form to capture the data and to allow Graphs and what not.

This is the first time I have used Google Forms and I am still working on the Forms. I am also trying to transfer all the previously submitted data into the Forms (which may or may not be a good idea).

I had previously put some links to the Form in this post (#38 in this thread) but just now edited this post to remove them so I can do more testing. If you already got the link and are submitting an entry that is fine. After I copy over all the data and do some testing I plan to put the links back up...

Updated the First Post at the Top of the Thread with a link to the underlying raw data as, while the Analytics are great, they obfuscate some of the data and they don't cover nor break out everything every person may want to see. Others could link to the raw data and make more breakout graphs and what not if they want. Unfortunately I just haven't had time to do that yet.

Added a link to the results from Reddit's Wow Classic Census and Demographics Survey (not Multi-boxer specific with 30K responses in August 2019).
