Just saw that blizz announced that everyone with active subscription in America and Oceania region can join the next stress test so a lot of people that can test stuff.

Should be a great time to test things.

Sadly I am EU so I can't participate. I would have liked to setup all addons and macros now...

Thanks !

So far I haven't participated in any Beta stuff.

If I wanted to join do I need to download or do anything special over and above than being up-to-date on the live retail WoW client and the current ISBoxer/Innerspace builds?

Do I need a 2nd install of WoW &/or ISBoxer/Innerspace?

Ill be running Census+ like I did the last stress test, got great info but had to delete my horde character to check alliance side. :(

Hopefully can get my kill only quest route more figured out. The number of players in starting zones has be crazy each test. Impossible to level almost.

Impossible to level almost.Any insight on the Alliance side would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking 5 gnomes (4-5 Warlocks & maybe 1 Mage) to at least level 20 ASAP for portals and maybe 35 for crafting.

Ill just drop the stats here from the last test in May. Please remember this was the next morning not the night so a lot less players.

Total unique characters: 5628 (alliance) Horde side I ran a test earlier in the night with 8018 unique
Rest stats are just Alliance side.

Dwarf 811 14%
Gnome 776 13%
Human 2583 45%
Night Elf 1458 25% So nightelf zone has least number of players starting in it. on Horde Busiest starting zone was Undead>orc/troll>Tauren

Warrior 951 16%
Hunter 910 16%
Mage 795 14%
Paladin 760 13%
Rogue 625 11%
Warlock 563 10%
Priest 537 9%
Druid 487 8%

Hope this helps others

Thanks!

For my main 3 Warrior+2 Paladin team that I plan to take to cap I am planning on all Human (or 1 Elf if I swap a Druid for a Warrior).

I may actually however start and level the 5 Gnome team to at least level 20 first so that I can stage them as I go around the map for strategic summoning. The Gnomes traveling around may help my main as then I can then summon them where-ever I want (within reason).

It may make sense to just quickly create the Gnomes and get out of the starting area ASAP as the Focus Fire of 5 Wands may open up options that aren't as viable for single players.

I really don't know much about leveling casters so my limited understanding is that I start with Wands and don't know at what level I should be moving away from Wands (on a 5box team of either all Warlocks or Warlocks with 1 Mage). I don't know if/when would be the time to switch to AoE or whether just 5 focus fires is the way to 20. The main thing I want to do is to stock as many shards for summoning as I go ;-) .

This approach may then allow me to later start my main team with less congestion.

I've edited the title of the thread because long titles get cut off. Longer titles work fine on sites like reddit, but not so much on message boards.

Could always just start a new BNet and attach some US accounts to it. ;)

Just make sure that Inner Space is pointed at the beta executable file, and your Characters are attached to it, so that it has a profile to launch.

No?

Just keep in mind you don't start with a wand equipped. The first easily available wand is at level 5 and will require tailoring/enchanting (tailoring to craft the greens to DE) https://classicdb.ch/?item=11287#created-by - Making 5 of them will require a ton of linen cloth (again, for the greens to DE and get lucky with an essence)

Otherwise you'll have to wait until level 15 unless you get lucky with a random green drop https://classicdb.ch/?item=5208

Just keep in mind you don't start with a wand equipped. ...OK thanks Hksix. At this point I really just want to 5 box them as quickly & efficiently as reasonably possible to 20 so maybe I can just do that with regular spells and mana/pets if I do them as the first group. If I do them as a second group I guess I could easily provide the wands from my main group...

it's limited to 15, which may be tight on a crowded, crashing server if you're starting at 1

Hi guys, very excited for this test, we’ll be able to run instances too which has me really excited. I am really looking forward to seeing how everyone’s teams fare in the early dungeons let us know on these forums. I plan on trying the 2 sham 3 war strat to 15 then do rfc and see how long it takes, and if I have time maybe wailing caverns. Also, it didn’t mention SFK but I hope we can give that a shot as well. Durotar is going to be an absolute cluster but we’ll be able to have a similar experience to launch day I suppose, we could share strategies we find are successful in getting away from the Zerg rush, if I find a nice spot to grind I’ll share it with you all.

If we have 2 wow account linked to our BNET account will it let us multibox?

Or we need 2 seperate BNET account?

It be more like, I can't log-in. than server crashing :) I may test the boxing team, but i did that before.

I'm sticking to 4x locks and 1 priest
or 3x warlocks 1x priest 1x mage.

I have 5 I think, on one bNET, but I think each one needs-active subscription to be able to participate in a stress-test.

The issue is having only 1 stress test account for the Bnet account I think.

I have 2 active subscription but only 1 development account.

What is this "development account" you speak of https://www.dual-boxing.com/images/smilies/smile.png?

I am working on reactivating my WoW accounts but don't want to if they wont get into the Stress Test. If I recall correctly I have 3-4 Bnet accounts with 5 WoW games authorized across the 3-4 Bnet accounts.

Something like:
1Bnet with 2 WoW Legion Subscriptions (but currently inactive with no game time);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);

So far I haven't gotten an invite into the Beta in any way that I know of. Should any/all of the above be able to get into the Stress Test if I add game time to them (or add 1 month subscriptions)?

Do I need to anything more than add subscriptions to get into the Stress Test?

Currently, access to Classic is labeled "Beta & Stress Test."

What is this "development account" you speak of?
A PTR account.

Something like:
1Bnet with 2 WoW Legion Subscriptions (but currently inactive with no game time);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);
1Bnet with 1 WoW Subscription (maybe WoTLK or Legion can't remember);
Every WoW account is given every expansion previous to the current, so you don't have a "WotLK" account, per se, you just have a WoW account without the current expansion. (If this was what you were even referring to by listing that information.)

We won't know whether Blizzard is flagging WoW licenses or just BNet accounts with active game time on one of its accounts, and unless Blizzard is able to clarify before tomorrow's test begins, then we'll just have to wait and see. The language they use seems to indicate that access is being given at the WoW license level (as it will be after Classic is launched), rather than the BNet account level (which is how all testing up to this point has been done), but, again, we likely won't know before tomorrow's test begins.

... [lots of great info] ... but, again, we likely won't know before tomorrow's test begins.Thanks. If I recall correctly I only Duo'ed in Legion so I only bought 2 copies of Legion and when I logged in recently they said Legion. I think I only bought up to WoTLK on the 3 other main accounts so I made the assumption they would only say WoTLK but I haven't logged in on them yet (sorry for any confusion)...

It would be great to hear feedback when folk see anything or get in.

for the stress tests so far it’s only 1 per bnet even if you have 5 paid subs, you still get at most one

obviously for release it’ll be one per paid account (like the demo was)

I can currently access the realm list of the stress test on accounts that do not have active game time, but whether or not I'll have access once the servers go live is yet to be seen.

At least right now, from my single Bnet account, it appears that I can access the Classic Realm list on both game accounts (one has an active subscription and one does not). We will see once things are live. For this test I think I will just duo (or single if the account without a subscription can't get in) as I don't have time to figure out how to recover my other Bnet accounts (at one point I could 10 box then I went down to 5boxing for several years then only 2boxing when I came back for Legion).

For those like me that haven't already been in the betas and didn't have the Classic Client installed, the following is where you select within your battlenet client to install the Classic Client:

Yep, the check seems to be after selecting a server.
