Hello multi-boxing friends! I took a long break from WoW to focus on some other RL things, but life has calmed down a bit so I've been having fun in WoW again.

I thought I'd share a few videos from my Mythic+ runs. I've been watching some SerScruffington streams and wanted to make a bit of a contribution here in case anyone is interested in another Mythic+ perspective. Though my setup is significantly less complex, I've been having some fun (and some success).

Here's a Tol Dagor +6 that I got a +2 key upgrade on with my leather team of 3 boomkins, a resto druid, and a vengeance demon hunter.

It's about time we got some Mercurio back up in here—it seems Scruffington and his cat, Fluffington, are reinvigorating the scene (and I'm feeling a bit left out, to be honest). I gotta say, that's some nice crisp 4K quality at 60 FPS on that video there, and for that, I give it two thumbs up (regardless of skill or outcome).

I know Scruffington has been trying to level a Demon Hunter, but how do you feel about it as a tank? I know their health can be spikey, but have you been able to try any other tanks in Mythic+ in 8.1.5? Also, while I didn't watch the video under a microscope, I don't see you using Infernal Strike (the jump move) on the DH, is that right?

Thanks, MiRai, it is fun to be back. I really like the concept of having a tank that can passively give +5% magic damage to all my caster toons (which is most of my damage dealers, including all the healers that chip in for a bit of damage). In the WoW community, the DH is pretty universally seen as the weakest tank at this point. For me, it is slightly even weaker since I don't use the Infernal Strike move. I've also chosen a couple of talents that are considered sub-par because the best talents in those rows count on using Infernal Strike. The move is still on my bar and I use it occasionally, but typically it just takes too much focus on one toon when I'm spending mental energy controlling five. All that said, the DH seems to perform fine for me at the level of Mythic+ that I'm running.

I do run other tanks as well and notice that the DH is a bit more squishy, but that 5% magic damage buff helps, especially when I'm running a lot of druids that can trade leather gear.

I should be able to throw up some more videos of other team comps too. I've had some success with a wide variety of combinations and my simpler setup means I can mix and match any toons with almost no additional setup.

If you have any pointers for submitting videos, just let me know.

Wonderful video. A couple questions on your setup.

What are the scrolling bars that show the icon of the last couple spells your party has cast?

What is your screen resolution and what you set your wow screens to? You seem to have room for a 6th slot if you wanted.

Again, great video.

Hey JG,

The scrolling bars on the bottom right come from the TrufiGCD addon. I don't look at them often, but they are nice when setting up a new rotation and seeing how it performs and in troubleshooting when something breaks. It is pretty easy to set up.

I'm running my monitor at 3440x1440. I run ten toons most of the time, so all the blank areas on the bottom and right side of the main window are usually filled when I'm doing typical things like world questing or leveling. I kill five of the unused windows when I do Mythic+ so my round robin interrupts don't go to "dead" toons (toons standing in Boralus Harbor idly going through their rotations while their friends are working hard to better themselves).

So yes, my setup revolves around not only a 6th, but having slots 6-10 available. If I get more runs up, you'll see other slots being used as I mix and match.

You might then be a prime candidate to try DynamicBoxer (sorry for the plug but I think it'd be relevant to you). There is a thread with more details on the addon sub forum but the short version is it lets you log in/out characters without having to re export anything, in other words, dynamic teams. You can use any team as a template (or make once for all 1 team with say character named SLOT1...SLOTN that don't even exist and log real characters in those slot or create them on the fly)

I'd love to hear back from anyone willing to try

Even if the videos don't see a lot of views (as multibxers, we generally don't reach a large audience), I always find it interesting to see how others have their setup laid out, as well as just how they play and approach fights.

If you have any pointers for submitting videos, just let me know.
If you're referring to submitting videos to YouTueb, then quality of the video is fine on my end, although for those watching on smaller displays, the reduced resolution of the main region may affect them slightly (maybe, maybe not - I think it's fine).

However, if you're referring to "submitting" as in creating threads, then, as both a moderator and someone who likes to point people to threads on the forum when they ask about what multiboxers can do, I prefer to see current-expansion dungeon videos put into megathreads created by the author (if they plan on recording and sharing multiple videos/dungeons), preferably broken down by patch or season. It makes it easy to find things and know which patch of the game someone was on when they finished a dungeon, seeing as Mythic+ difficulty changes along with gear availability and item level as the expansion progresses, so it helps to throw some categorization onto links and what not.

This is not directly aimed at you, but, again, I don't know if that's what you were asking when you mentioned pointers for submitting videos, and the way you have this thread set up is perfect for just adding in additional replies and links into the first post.

@Moorea, thanks, I'd be interested to try it out.

@MiRai, I appreciate the feedback. Anything I can do to make things easier for you guys.

So... here's another video in the same thread :)

This is Mythic+8 through Freehold that I finished in time with a Blood DK, Resto Shammy, and 3 BM Hunters

Nice video's!

How you like the Shaman healer?
currently i'm running a Holy priest who gets the job done but in oh shit senario's, I'm not really convinced of him.

Keep it up!

My hunters are doing ok, managed a +6. But my attempts at various trinity setups only managed a +2.

My goal being to just learn the easy way. Keep the videos coming!

Here's another one - Tol Dagor +8 in time with a mixed team:

As for the Shammy healer, I have gotten to the point where I think they are my favorite healer. The Spirit Link totem is a great, "Oh Crap!" button to stabilize a bad situation (that I should really use much more often than I do). I love having a healer with a low-cooldown interrupt, since they are so important in Mythic+ dungeons. Spamming chain heal is a nice way to get the whole party up fairly quickly. I also have them throw down a capacitor totem during my AOE rotations which helps on big trash pulls. They do pretty good DPS while healing as well (especially with a 1-2 Igneous Potential Azerite traits). However, they are NOT that mobile and have no battle rez, which I definitely miss sometimes.

It is fun to have all the max level and geared healers so I can just play around and see what works best.

And yet another - my first Mythic+10. The timer was well expired by the end, but I was happy to finish it!

A couple of questions:
1) What are you using for your party frames? I like the look of it quite alot.
2) What are those red bars to the left of the party?
3) Would you mind sharing your Isboxer profile?

Thanks!

Congrats on the +10! Are you enjoying the Mage into the group?

Big congratulations on the +10!

I have to say, after watching your video's. I really wish I had more max level characters to play around with :o.
It looks like a lot of fun being able to have so many different team compositions.

Hey Jalerian,
#1: I'm using an add-on called Vuhdo for all my healing. My setup is pretty simple. The only thing I have to do when I switch up parties is to hit Shift-Ctrl-Alt-G and set up a Repeater Region using ISBoxer, targeting the window number with my healer for the Mythic+ run I go on. I make the Repeater Region the same size as my Vuhdo frame on my tank, and I have Vuhdo set up in the same place on all my character's screens. That way, it passes the mouse and my clicks in that area to my healers who have Vuhdo set up to cast a couple of spells when clicked.
#2: The small portion on the left of my characters in the Vuhdo frame show what each character has targeted (and the health %). It should always be the same as what my tank is targeting, but this is a quick way to ensure my characters aren't going rogue on me :)
#3: I think my profile has some account info in it, so am reluctant to share it. However, my setup is VERY basic. There is nothing character specific in any of my setup. This doesn't allow me to do some cool stuff, the the lack of complexity means I can swap out characters very quickly with no fuss. Again, the only thing I ever have to do is set up another Repeater Region if the healer or tank windows change.

Hope that helped!

Ellay, yes, I really like my mages. The int buff is nice and they do really good damage (top damage seems to ping pong between them and my hunters). Once in a blue moon the big circle of frost pulls extras, but for a spell that isn't targeted and just takes off in a straight line to do AOE damage to the first mobs it reaches, it is amazingly well behaved.

It is definitely fun having a large set of characters to pull from. Makes it pretty easy to avoid Mythic+ keys that are a PITA and just go with the "good ones". I've done a few odd comps, including an all melee team and all but healer melee team on low level keys, but they need more work to try the higher level ones. Fun stuff for sure!

However, I'm paying for the diversity now in 8.2. Just getting a portion of them through the overly long and painful Mechagon and Nazjatar intro quests is sucking up a ton of time.

Here's a +9 Motherlode. It isn't in time, but thought it might be helpful for some to see how I deal with the dungeon.

BTW, my internet connection burped about 19 minutes into the run, so it dumped me to my login screens and it took me a minute to log back in. That's the reason I broke the video into two parts:

Holy cow, a true mixed team right there. It looks like from the damage meters they are all performing pretty well.
What kind of ilvl are we working with here?

Wonder how you can afford so many teams, it must be pricey. Do you max out gem/enchants? I see flasks but no feast. Do you use str/agi/int potions on cooldown?

I kept that up in Legion but this expansion costs too much to keep all my teams dungeon ready.

All my guys are somewhere between 395 and 403. Looking to bump that up a bit in Season 3 which is just around the corner!

It doesn't seem that bad. I have a max level alchemist and enchanter on each of the two realms I'm on and they keep the guild banks full of the items I use. I use the cheap ring enchants and gems since they are 75% as good for 10% of the cost. I have a few stat potions available for the middle two Underrot bosses when needed, but that's the only time I ever use them. As you noted, on higher level keys or when I'm pushing, I do use flasks. I've never made a feast - just buy cheap food stacks once in a while. About a third of my toons can disenchant, so I never pay for enchanting mats.
