Hello :D

First off all i want to tanks the people that have comment my first (Topic)Hello Every One (About) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5881') now i have a good id what program to use if want to start a mutliboxing (Team)

But i have still a view queastions

i have read this topic FAQ: step-by-step basic keyclone setup ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2074')

and if i have it right your character (toons) are following you just like /Follow but i dont understand why i meen you have a program Key Clone so all the characters are downing the same thing or is that diffrent when you Walk (Follow)?

and i have seen that there are some movies on Youtube(and topics on this forum :D ) with multiboxing (for WoW) but i only see 2 3 4 or 5 multiboxing movies what is the reason because the dungeons are only for 5 plays ? or will je have problem with the controlls (or a diffrent reason?)

well boxing at its best will be at 5, most things in this game focus on a group on 5.. raids are simply multiples of that :P
there is no reason why you couldn't do it with 10 for instance except for certain drawbacks..
Heroics etc.. means you can't use half your team..
BGs you take up such a large proportion of the team that you are likely to end up loosing due to your inability to multitask (i'm talking at different ends of the BG) (unless ur in AV, then it might be to your advantage)
Raid XP is terrible so lvling with 10 at a time will take a long long long time.
never the less it's a challenge :)

I believe Xzin is boxing with more than 5 atm :) but i would suggest the average boxer to stick to 5 for the way it fits into the game..

as far as controlling more clones it shouldn't be any harder to control 100 clones then it is to control 1.. except of course to set up the healing macros maybe :P and providing your pc's can handle 100 accounts..

G'afternoon Haagnus,

the reason people use follow is due to the inability to properly set the facing ... or heading... of each character. you could pass the movement keys, but if the heading was off by just a little, your characters would soon get off course. also, in combat, there are many things that could change your facing direction. suffice it to say, /follow is about the only solution you have.

as for the number of toons to play at once... well, i'd say there is a limit due to the game dynamics. 5 is a typical max for a group... you could, and people have, run 10 characters at once. of course, you would need the accounts (you could use test accounts to try it)... as well as the hardware to support all the wow clients.

in shadowbane, my normal configuration was 10 characters across 3 machines (i max'd out at 24 .. which included a couple from a friends machine across the net.. but it was just unwieldy.. wow might be better as it's follow model would be more conducive to our needs... )

I se only one way that wud work, youd need to have a program that reposisiond you if you hit F12 so each time youd de sync youd pres F12 and BAM! but then again thats 3rd party i think. or hacking eather way use /follow

Because you cannot quest as a raid. Raid being more then 5people.

I've contemplated doing 10 for a long time now, and the reason that finally stopped me was because you'd only be able to run 2 instances with them all, which seems like a bit of a waste of devotion and money. Who knows what WOLK holds, if there's a plethora of 10 mans I might make that leap

Why 5?

I only have 4 fingers and the thumb is my tank.

There's a 5 second rule.

There's Mana per 5 Seconds.

Orc, Troll, Tauren, Undead, and Blood Elf--that 5 race per faction.

Have you seen A Tauren shooting fireballs? There's actually a mage underneath that bull.

I always wanted to reskin my UD Priest to look like a tauren. Or maybe make a tauren rogue.

Off topic, and I am gona guess it's a no-no, but I figure i'll ask here rather than make a new post.
Does any1 know how to reskin chars? Esp Orcs into Undead.

It was allowed at one time, but then people started abusing it. They would do things like making campfires look like the stairs of destiny, (the name of the stairs leading to the dark portal) so they could get to an unreachable area, or make Black Lotus look like Ragnaros, so they could find em easier.

But it can still be done.

If your an engy, get the engy teleporter trinket and when you use it you can get a "transporter malfuction" debuff that gives you a different skill for an hour:

"Transporter Malfunction - Looks like your pattern matrix got mixed up with the last person to use the transport pad."

This gives you a random skin of varying races & sex. So far I've seen male dwarf, female gnome, female draenei, male night elf, female blood elf, male troll, male tauren & female orc.

The good thing is if you don't like your skin, you can re-log and get another one!

The catch - the trinket has a 4 hour cooldown.

Cheers,
