I've been reading all the posts here and I must say, multi-boxing fever has HIT me!
This post will probably wander a bit, sort of talking out loud to the community.
Trying to decide on a good Alliance 5 team make-up, possibly using my current 70 pally and 52 lock as the starting ground. Am looking to mainly 5 man instances, maybe a bit of pvp as I get used to the setup.
I would probably use the pally or lock to boost the 3 new toons, as that would entail only adding 3 accounts (total of 4) as I leveled up the 3 new team members.
I'll list my possible team setups with my pros and cons and maybe the more learned folks here could comment.
1. Prot pally + 4 locks.
Pro- existing pally and lock and know the ins/outs of leveling the locks. Only 2 classes to control
Con- No dedicated healer, can 4 locks dot up an Outland boss and take him down? Is lock CC adequate?
2. Prot pally + lock + 3 mages or shaman
Pro- existing pally and lock. Good CC with mages, good synergy with shamans
Con- No healing with mages, have to learn how to run a new class, 3 classes to control.
3. Prot pally + priest + 3 locks
Pro- existing pally and lock. Priest for healing,
Con- Once again, is lock CC adequate, 3 classes to control.
I know most of this is covered here and there in the forums, I'm just trying to get my head around it all.

#3 is a good option to go with. I might even say take it a step further and do 2 priests 2 locks. That way you can keep one priest for healing, and then have another to spec as shadow. Shadow priests and locks synergize way to well to ignore, if you ask me.
Really as far as CC goes, if you're good enough and geared enough you don't even need it. Especially with pally tanks since threat shouldn't be a problem. There are people out there running heroics with a 5x shammy group (Veronika I believe? There as some videos in the videos section). If you can do that, you can probably run about any team, as shammy's have no cc really.

My main focus will be PVE, tho we will reside on a PVP server as that is where my current account is located.
I've been reading more on the net about shamans and there seems to be a concern about the lack of +spell damage gear for someone leveling up elemental shamans. Whats the general concensus for leveling up your shamans, elemental all the way? What type of gear did you all use along the way?
My pally is herb/alchem and my lock is tailoring/enchanting, might i be better off sticking with cloth wearers?
Soooo many choices, lol.

Well, I rolled 4 priests yesterday.
I do get a million questions and com'on guys, quit hittin on my girls, lol.
They are currently at level 8.
Getting them to 10 seems very hard, when you leave out the collection quests.
Don't know if I'll stick with this group but it is a good learning experience. Th whole "facing" issues do seem to be difficult.
Doubt anyone plays alliance side on Aggamagon, but if you do give us a shout.
Foxone, Foxtwo, Foxthree, Foxfour.
I'll just throw in my own weird idea I had a while ago, hope nobody minds: priest healer + 4x demo locks. At level 70 those four felguards should be able to tank quite a few things I suppose. Four locks with good gear should have enough aoe to take down pretty much anything, even elites in heroics. That way you could keep your healer as main to get better micromanagment and just spam with the locks. Has anyone tried anything like that before?
It should be quite interesting in pvp battlegrounds also, I guess. You could probably easily control a chockepoint in av or defend your general by yourself.

Interesting thread!
I'm currently in the same process as the OP. I am gonna play on a PVP server just for the thrill but my objective is more PVE at the moment (could change later on). I want to 4-boxing and I thought of this setup:
- Prot pally + Priest + Lock + mage
or
-Prot pally + Priest + 2 Locks
All input is welcome, thx!
PS: I use this thread so I don't have to create a similar one.

IMHO, one of the best PVE teams is Prot Pally, 2 Locks, Shadow Priest and a Resto Shammy. Now I do not know much about Locks but a friend tells me there is a "Support" Spec that really enhances the damage doable by the other. Add the shadow priest to the mix and you have some great DPS and Mana Regen/Healing. The totems are always handy as well.

CC can be very helpful when you get those ranged casters. I think PPLM would be the easier one to PVE with but PPLL would probably be easier to set up;)
