Assist macro only working from select slots across all teams

For no apparent reason the assist part of my interact macros went from working fine to not. I have three teams of 9 toons and all of a sudden today the assist part started only working correctly from slots 4 and 9 across all three teams. The other slots might send one toon or none at all. As far as I can see, all slots are consistent in both ISBoxer and WoW bindings. If everyone has a target then interact works but the problem is I can only get the assist when driving from 2 specific toons. I've spent the entire day trying different tweaks to the macros and bindings but can't change the outcome. I'm currently using the interact with target-standard in the party maps as the template with a copy for two binds in base hotkeys, caplock and scrollwheel up. I've had it bound to the "Y" key, I've also had it broadcast the key to all toons and had interact in the wow binds. This is driving me nuts, its like an update broke assist or FTL . I even cleared and deleted everything ISBoxer and innerspace on my computer and started fresh.

Try load a previous isboxer profile.. maybe it works.

Everytime you make changes, its best to create a save, and a external backup or two. Lots of free storage online solutions aswell.

Do the same for any wow wtf folder.

Better safe than sorry.



If you have to troubleshoot from the very beginning, search for the official isboxer focus and assist videoguides on youtube. It should fix any issue. Tried by yours truly awhile back.

Once you have solved any issues on a clean fresh isboxer profile, if need be, you can open an additional version of isboxer (2 up at the same time), and then copy paste from anywhere in the original setup, and paste to the fresh one: saves a lot of time.

I'm suspicious that my problem might be in the WoW Macro Sets in the Game Helpers sub menu. I'm attaching a snapshot here. Do all of these actions need an in game keybind? I unbound a lot of things in game I didn't want to risk interfering with ISBoxer. Assist Target, Focus Target, and Target Focus are all currently unbound in game although I don't remember when I did that. I also use the F1-F8 function keys as keybinds for the bottom left action bar, so all of the in game target party stuff was cleared too.

Thanks, above is the link, at least I hope it works that way. I just copied the https line. I tried once again to delete everything and start fresh. I cleared ISBoxer, exported it to inner space, deleted and uninstalled the program and folders for Inner space on my PC, did a search for anything saying isboxer and innerspace that was left, deleted it, then restarted my computer. Apparently Inner space still holds on to all of your characters youv'e ever logged in with. I would prefer an actual fresh start but oh well.
Anyways, this time around setting everything up I decided to try it without Jamba. I kept things as simple as I could and I still have the same problem. My slot 4 and 9 will get the assist from the entire team but the other slots only get it from a few.

Apparently Inner space still holds on to all of your characters youv'e ever logged in with. I would prefer an actual fresh start but oh well. Actually, the toolkit only gets information from the currently open profile, and it reads your character data from the WOW WTF folder. If you have done a File -> Clear in the toolkit, your character data is coming from WOW itself.

Thank you so much! This worked perfectly. Shift-Backspace was bound to Target Arena 5 on most of my toons.

There was (as one point) a way to paste your keyboard config into all your WTF files and have it auto-import them the next time you started WoW. That was back during the transition away from per-client keybinds to per-account-and-stored-in-the-blizzard-cloud keybinds. Made it much easier to homogenize everyone's bindings.
