Your thoughts about this monitor - LG 43UD79-B

It's not the image split but mostly the size that I'm looking into.

5MS response time, no GSync and only 60Hz refresh rate.

I imagine it would be alright if you're using it exclusively to box WoW or similar games but it wouldn't be a very pleasant experience in anything else. You can pick up something like the Acer XB321HK for the same price or less with a faster response time and Gsync if you don't care about refresh rate at all.

Personally, once I tried a 100Hz+ monitor anything less feels like watching a slide show now. If you're willing to spend a little more I have two Acer X34P's and they're about as close to the perfect monitor as I've ever used. Even the onboard speakers are decent.

Depends on how high your standards are. There's a reason you can't find anything over about 35" when you search for "gsync monitor" on Amazon. I'd second most of what Apatheist said, though I'm much more jaded on the refresh rate thing. I've had really good luck on the better Asus monitors. My personal preference right now is two 1440p 34" monitors. Seems to be (from past testing) less taxing than a 4k monitor by itself and gets me plenty of real estate within good viewing range without falling afoul of poor off-axis viewing artifacts at the edges.

If you're looking for a quick and dirty answer, then I doubt there's anything wrong with that display (LG tends to make good stuff). I like 4K and I like large displays, but it takes some horsepower to multibox at 4K.

I would do a bit of review research on that motherboard with M.2 NVMe drives. I've had two motherboards (one MSI, one Asus) in the last few years that experienced some I/O stalls with two of those drives in RAID 0 but had no issues with normal SATA SSDs. The user experience was basically some relatively "bursty" performance that resulted in some stuttering in games that do a lot of dynamic texture loading (like WoW when zoning into a big capital city). Might have just been early-adopter syndrome but I figured it would be worth mentioning.

Depending on what your video settings are and where you are in the world, a GTX 1080 may be cutting it close, at times.
