I have this idea, I think it's a magnificent idea... Buuuuut I have no idea how to realize it. But I reckon this is probably the best place to start.

I want to know if it is possible for a program like keyclone or whatever, to send one key in order to all your wow instances.

..For example, to make it clear.

I press "g" -> Toon 1 warstomps. I press "g" again -> Toon 2 warstomps. Eventually I pressed it 4 times, and it resets back to the first toon. With preferably a built in cooldown checker. (once it's pressed, the key won't go past that instance for the time the cooldown will last, the cooldown manually inputted in the gui interface or whatever.) Or even better, a second key that can reset the sequence if it somehow foils. Cast interrupts, etc.

I think it'd be an awesome idea to add to keycloning software! Not only for abilities such as warstomp, but for much more. :D

So heya, Keyclone, think ya can built this in? xP Or perhaps there already is something like this? :D

It's implemented already. It's called "round robin".

It's already there. Go to your keyclone setup - add 'g' to the round robin list and voila - done. It won't check cooldowns, but will cycle that keypress through all of your clients.

You might want to check the round robin feature :)

No way near possible to have a built in 'cool down' checker as that would result in interfacing to the game and breaking the EULA, ToU & ToS.
Nice Idea Tho.

You should have asked this in the software forum, but I'll play ball. This feature already does exist :) It's called "Round Robin" and it does exactly what you described. Every time you press the key, it moves on to the next toon. Check it out in Keyclones setup.

Edit: Christ... 3 other replies while I wrote mine lol

No it wouldn't. I don't mean that it should get the info straight from the game, but like, if warstomp has a 2 min cd, input in the software you have that it won't cycle through to the next unless it has been at least 2 minutes since that instance was last used for this keypress. It would still be completely seperate from ingame. :)

the problem with this is it is borderline automation in that it is taking a decision for you... the press or don't press of the key depending on assessed factors e.g. the known cooldown of an ability.
