I need some community support for moving up to 5 accounts from 3 because I can't make myself spend another $80 :pinch:

Would 5 Boxing be harder than Triple Boxing?
My computer should handle 5 Boxing fine right? (Sig)
Any good class combos? I am interested in end game instances (5-25 man)

So far this multi boxing is just pure addicting. I use to hate playing WoW by myself because I would either get owned by what ever I took on, or just barley could do it. Right now triple boxing I can just mow down anything in my path and now I want more power... But need some support to help me spend that extra bit of money.

Thanks keyclone and this community for everything you have done!

G'evening Zite,

well... one item, that might lessen the financial impact...

if you remember to 'recruit-a-friend' from your main account to your new accounts, you'll save $30...
and i had just read somewhere (amazon.com) there was a battlechest deal for $30 each.. for as total of $60, but the $30 savings brings it down to $30.

basically, by 'recruit-a-friend' you can essentially cut your initial costs by 50%

i hope that helps :D

Five boxing isn't necessarily harder than three boxing. It certainly is different and there is a bit more micro management invovled but I'm sure you will be able to handle that just fine.

While I'm no hardware expert I'm pretty sure it will work just fine (I five box on a three year old laptop hehe)

As far as end game 5 man instances go, a good setup can always be found with the Tank/healer/three dps teams. I myself roll with a Pally/Holy Priest/Three mage's. Seems to work well with all the CC and the ability to AoE tank.

Personal opinion: 5 boxing is so worth the money :D

you should be able to 5box. i have a generally same setup except you have a better vid card.. umm make sure this is something you want to do. i 5box but i do occasionaly miss interacting with others:[[ sometimes i think about switching to 3boxing... but seriously its tons of fun but just make sure this is something you want:/

Well say hello to the new 5 boxer! Had to start all new characters :P

2 x Paladin(tank/healer) 3 x Mage

So far both paladins are worthless, cause my 3 mages just kill anything before it can even react! I love it!

Unless you mix up more classes than you have with the three, it is no more complex. It's just adding two more connections to keyclone/octopus/KVM/etc. and copying your assist macros over to 'em. Pretty straightforward. If you want to add 2 more so you can use more classes, then yeah, you'll have to work out the new spell rotations, what goes where, etc.

As far as what's harder, five or three, I think it entirely depends on yoru set up and aim. :p

5 elemental shamans, in terms of boxing, requires little micromanagement and is easier then dualboxing a warrior tank and druid healer, for example. :p
