LF Quest Helper Mod

So a long time ago, before I multiboxed, I was partied with this guy who had a quest mod, that would spam chat for every quest objective he did, and every quest complete he got.

Does any1 know the name of this mod, or 1 like it?

I just want something to spam party chat every time one of my slaves completes a part of a quest.

I use QuestFu myself (since I use FuBar and Ace2 mods). I have it installed on all my toons and I get a "raid warning" type message in the middle of my screen whenever a toon gets a quest item or gets quest credit for something. I'm sure there are other similar mods that other folks here can comment on.

Why would you use such an addon? If you have a gathering quest you need to pick items on every character anyway, so you know how much they have. And if it's a 'kill x mobs' quests, you can see on your main how much you got.

There is a mod called QuestHelper that can track the progress of everyone in your party (provided they all have the mod of course). It can also tell you where to go to accomplish all your objectives and plan the fastest route for you to take. I was quite happy to discover it from another thread here on the boards. :) http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9924/ I'm not sure if it can send a message to party chat with the progress as you mentioned, but it puts waypoints on your map for any unfinished objectives or quests needing to be turned in of everyone in your party, and the waypoints will have a tooltip with the progress of each member who hasn't completed the quest. Pretty much accomplishes the same thing.

Note that Questhelper (last time I checked) was bugged to sometimes cause WoW locks when zoning. The way to fix this is to download Gatherer 3.1.1 and copy its version of Astrolabe and overwrite Questhelper's version.

My alt's screens are fairly small, and I'd rather look at my main screen for a confirmation, rather than look over at each of theirs.

The way to fix this is to download Gatherer 3.1.1 and copy its version of Astrolabe and overwrite Questhelper's version.I have noticed that I seem to get bugged when zoning from Shatt to Silvermoon a lot lately. Sometimes some alts load in fine and not the rest, but those that don't make it do appear in Silvermoon to the ones that did make it. Perhaps this is why. Never had a problem anywhere else though.

I downloaded the latest version of Questhelper and it seems to be fixed.
