So as I've posted elsewhere I am new here (see postcount) but not new to dual boxing. However, what i'm really stoked about, and what I had never imagined before is running 5 clients at once. So now I am (either tonight or tomorrow) building a whole new beefed up PC.
While I wait on the hardware, I am posting what questions i have and info to continue the excitement :)
So far I am thinking my team makeup of 5 will be the most amazing and unique team you all have seen yet:
1 paladin and.....wait for it...4 shammys!!!!
Leveling Paladin right now (to 60) to help boost the shammys when I get the new PC.
This would be my first 5 box. As I said only ever duoboxed and, after finding this site, apparently i wasnt doing it "seroiusly".
BTW this will be for some random pve fun, and ultimately the hopes are: PVP GLORY! For the HORDE! X(
I am excited to share the names, "theme", and guild name of my team...but alas, i must wait until i've created it - TOP SECRET!
How's that for a rambling disconnected opening post to this thread? :S

Welcome to the community! You sound primed to become greatly addicted to 5-boxing. I see that you've been around for a little lurking in the forums, so you know that there are a lot of regulars here on the site that are more than happy to help you.
Have fun setting everything up! The first few days is always a little brutal :)

Thank you.
I am still deciding on hardware and hope to have a setup ready to post for review by the members here later tonight. I have never built a pc specifically for duoboxing before so hopefully there are some experts who can give me some good feedback as I'm looking to go 5x.
I think I have the patience to make it past the first few days, i hope. Especially considering ill probably spend 1.5 to almost 2k on this :)

Its definitely addicting. I'd rather work on my 5 zerglings tonight than raid on my main :P

Bah, raiding is for anti-social socialites. I prefer my WoW Anti-socialx2 - just solo and raid everything yourself, who needs people right? :D
But seriously...
So my thoughts are - paladin as "lead" character, with 4 shamans as zombie chars. My thoughts are, pvp-wise, they will figure out that killing the controlling character essentially means victory, so why not make that character have super-high survivability ie. holy paladin. Am I way off?

Am I way off?Ahh, this certainly isn't true. With Keyclone's PiP and BOOBS (go look in the software forums) you can quickly switch "mains" and pwn face.

I like the sound of this.
Well, at least i will keep this makeup for my "RP" reasons. I plan to RP when people ask me if im a chinese farmer, i will have some clever RP related responses :) - probably macroed

Hey if you like RP a few of us are on RP servers that I know of. There's me on Steanwheedle, and I know that the famous and mighty Twenty Totems is pillaging the Argent Dawn. When I get my arse in gear and have time to start a new team I am hoping to roll horde on AD and give them a /poke.

Never played on an RP server before.
I'd definately go for a pvp/rp
What are the rules?
Also not sure which server i will end up on, I *sort of* have friends on my current server (what are e-friends anyways?)
