Warfront unlock was crazy (and pretty fun)

Went in with Paladin and 4 x DK and did the quests and rares to unlock the Warfront

What I walked away with:

I'm worried that the loot was bugged. I got a few mounts as well ( two raptor mounts) and lots of 340 gear. was too easy. Anyways, ill be back today to try for more!

You know I think I agree. I mean one of my characters got 5 pieces of gear and I didn't roll bonus loot on anything.

Although, I am trying to treat this as a "catchup" mechanic and hope that it was intentional.
We'll see I guess.

No mounts for me. Got a few pets and loads of gear including a 365 piece. How often are we allowed to kill the rares? Do they reset when the warfront changes sides?

I went in with Dk's and got quite a bit of armor and Lil' Donkey Mount as well and a few weapons as well. its was pretty fun as well help a few peeps as well to get there kills good times ,

Yes, just DON'T zone out if you aren't done, apparently Horde can't get back in after you leave. At least that's what I'm hearing

Was enough gear to help me do my first mythic in ilvl 315 avg!

Nope they are just rares on the map. Anyone can tag em and kill them with you. I got so much gear there it was crazy.

Get the Handynotes addon for this because there are lots you will miss.

My first run through here was on my Paladin group, they each walked away with 3-6 pieces of gear and 5 pets, no mounts :(

I just finished with my Druid team and ..... shitty shitty drops! Two characters didn't get anything but pets, no gear. One character got the same piece of gear 3 times. The Druids were ripped off.

Just took my 5 pali team through. Received total of 9 pets, 4 toys, 2 mounts, and 7 gear. Through out 7 duplicate toys as well.

So when you have the queue for the warfront scenario, are we, as multiboxers, better at just helping kill stuff? or would the raid benefit more from us gathering?

I ride around and help to kill the bosses to activate stuff at the very start, then im on a constant watch afterwards to stop and kill and patrols of the oposite faction: you can see them on the world map, a group of mobs is heading towards "x" and the zone map updates their location realtime. If possible i also help secure new bases.

Well, finally got to get in and do some attacks with the team a couple of times.

1st Warfront - went great. Everyone got their 370 and a 340 piece.

2nd Warfront - One of the team died next to the demolishers or whatever and I could NOT rez him, tried and tried.
I should have just ran him back but I was determined to rez him. Guy calls me afk and group kicks me. I ended up leaving early.
I can see how they'd think he might have been afk, kinda my fault.

3rd Warfront - I'm running around leading with my paladin, doing the little quests I didn't do at first. You know run around and learn where the places are. Went and collected some ore and came back and was reading the other quests and finishing them up. Mind you I'm leading from the paladin. Guy yells out "Hey there'a multiboxer here just standing in town" and they vote-kicked the paladin, AS I was doing quests.
I finished the warfront but, I exited out after that.

WTF? I was so mad. I was actively running around and only stood a few seconds here and there to read quests.
I think maybe it was just an attack on me because I'm a boxer, even though most of the time, I was leading the charge and taking out elites and clearing areas. *shrug*

Anyone else seen anything like that?


PS. Weird story on the 2nd warfront with my toon that died and got kicked. I could NOT return to graveyard. After I left the warfront even my paladin couldn't rez him. Stuck didn't work. I had to submit a ticket that I couldn't move and got ported to Westfall by the support system which rezzed me. Very odd bug.

I personally have had a very good time in the warfront attacks. the method I use is as follows:

1. kill first boss
2. Straight to mine, kill boss and cap
3. Valorcall, the first base north, kill and cap.
4. Then I mount, run around and dot the 2 war machines, corruption never runs out so over the next 12 mins it does about half their hp. I take the death from the mobs and res in base.
5. Collect iron and donate to either whatever building needs it and grab a 2 stack of the dmg buff.
6. Take highperch of newstad whichever hasnt been taken.
7. Defend attack waves until sieges are built.
8. I return to base with 2 mins left on buff to refresh with 3rd and 4th stack.
9. Proceed with sieges to end the instance.

EDIT: If I have extra iron I use it on buying the healers. You can take circle of elements while sieges are killing war machines.

ran 16 plate toons through the warfront and got the full 370 set for transmog :D lookin spiffy, i've been queing 2 groups of 4 at the same time and am able to get all 8 accounts in at once, pretty sick

Yea, the altar of kings. Once it's built you can hand in 10 of either resource for a buff that stacks up to 4. Lasts 10 mins. Increases dmg/healing/hp by 20% each stack. If stagnate your hand ins it will refresh, you can't refresh at 4 stacks.

yea i got a ton of hate, i did about 20 of them with 8 toons at once and people would protest and just sit there but i was able to pretty much solo them lol, if you run straight to the mine and loot those carts with all toons at once they all get loot credit instead of 1 so you can 200 iron cap all toons in a few carts, Then run to newstead and cap that so you can recruit 2 knights per toon and you are almost unstoppable. They do sooo much damage, also go to the alter of kings and grab the buff on the left at 4x stacks. with that i can kill those 2 8mil hp siege towers faster than 3 siege tanks can
