Hi all,
i need a help with choose the profession for my pala + 4 shaman
I mean the "perfect" profession about BoP craft for your job in party
Es. Shaman Heal ----> Alchemy ----> Alchemy stone
Or Paladin / Warrior ----> Engeneering -----> BoP epic Head
Ecc...
Any suggestion? :)

If you are looking to purely maximise DPS and dont care about buying reageants etc I'd say:
1) Palla/Warrior: BS + Eng (Epic Goggles and boots, poss chest with warrior)
2) Healer Shammy: JC (various trinkets, necks and special gems), Ench (Ench rings healing power)
3) DPS Shammies: Eng - (Epic Goggles), LW (Netherstrike Set)
This would be a pretty expensive way to do it though, with no gathering profs, particularly for 3x375 Leatherworkers.
My setup is:
Pally: Eng/Ench (will swop the Ench for mining when I can be bothered)
Sham1: Skin/Mining (will drop mining and take LW)
Sham2: Tail/LW
Sham3: Ench/LW (the healer)
Sham4: JC/LW (Probably would have made a better healer, but no biggie)
I have been thinking about making my healing shaman a tailor to make the primal mooncloth healing set and whitemend hood/pants. The second profession for my healer is enchanting.

I'm not bothering with professions on my current pally+mages gang but if I did, it'd be:
pally = blacksmithing/mining
mage1 = tailor/herbalism
mage2 = tailor/skinning
mage3 = tailor/enchanting
mage4 = tailor/jewelcrafting

Leveling crafting professions on all 5 would sure be expensive. On my 5 box team I've opted for mining/herbing on the main for ease of gathering and skinning on an alt since you can macro it with /cast Skinning. Of course I have one toon as an enchanter (which I think most people consider a must). I'm also leveling one as a Jewelcrafter, simply to experience the profession.
Basically I decided craftable gear just isn't worth the expense with the current ease of getting PVP gear. IMO, gathering professions are all worth it as they are easy to keep leveled just by picking up what you walk by, and they make decent money.

if you have herb/mining
how do you switch back and forth between the two, so you can collect both?

Probably manually.
I wonder if you can somehow bind a /castsequence Find Minerals, Find Herbs to a movement key? I'd imagine you might be able to then just have it spammed relentlessly, and if your minimap is refreshing quickly you might be able to spot something you'd otherwise skip over? Meh, I dunno, never given it any thought, it could be a stupid idea lol.

how do you switch back and forth between the two, so you can collect both?I did make a castsequence button as suggest above, but found it to be too tedious to spam it continuously as I move around. I just try to alternate them regularly and keep an eye out for whichever one is not currently being tracked. I haven't had much trouble keeping them leveled so far.
