Level boosts no longer boost professions

The information about professions was removed from the 100 level boost FAQ at the same time as they removed it from the other. So chances are its gone as well but no verification until somebody tries it.

I just boosted a level 64 to 100 and the professions stayed at 1.

Professions were removed with pre-patch since they were overhauled.
There was no announcements made.
There was limited time frame where you could get assistance with them if bought/used recently.
That all ended with Battle for Azeroth release.

Thanks for confirming. Looks like I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my unused boosts before that change went in, thank goodness.

No. There is no boost of professions at all.

It used to be char lvl > 60 and profession > 0, but that apparently was all pulled a few weeks before the expansion. I can't imagine what that was intended to accomplish aside from forcing new level 110s to go back and level tradecraft in the cities and old zones.

Previously, professions had to be leveled through previous expansions to be useful in the current expansion. However, with the profession changes, that is no longer the case.

I agree it'd be nice if the profession tiers for prior expansions were maxed, but not having it doesn't hinder anything about the current expansion profession usage. I can see how previous expansion playability isn't part of the "boost" in their minds.

Note the line "Warlords of Draenor Garrisons must be unlocked through normal play." Not that they are that hard to open... but... feh.
