EMA is an Addon for multiboxers.

Q: Why Did you quit jamba it was great

A: Jamba has been Great for the last few years but most of the code was written for WOTLK 3.0.3 it was not coded by me then and Jafula Made most of the code, Its getting very very very outdated and am fed of of hacking into something i know can be done better.

Remember how bad blizzard's own code is! They can change a SKY box somewhere and lose a summon stone at dead mines If you think this is easy to work though then you can be wrong i can get very very stressed looking though 17 addons! Yes that right Jamba was classed as 17 Addons i could change something in one addon and break it somewhere else that has nothing to do with it! Even TSM has axed the Module system for there "own" what they class as there own Code!

As well You prob seen by now all the users that wonted old jamba back How bad It was/is to update to BFA and this is without the really bad error i found (i guess it was the skybox at blizzards end) or though saying that WoWapi is very funny and they started a phasing system that where they keep the code around a bit but it does not work on ptr/beta for a few builds the poof sometimes they just go all out and remove it off the bat! its really "fun"

When beta hit us i made the choice of just working on EMA and letting Jamba and me go our own ways, much of the beta feedback was to keep it jamba so it could work with isboxer and commands lines etc stayed the same i went back and foreword for months on this So i moved on from EMA and when With "Jamba" but using my new EMA code EMA i started working on in wod it was not something i put togaver in 5 mins and spend many many long nights on it. and am still nowhere ner at the point i would like to be at. but like they say time i money friend! And or though i work part time sometimes i just find it to hard to get out of bed. All i can say is i wish i stayed with EMA because in turn that all that happened now anyway. anyway this story could go on forever! Maybe i should write a book.........

Q: I Would like to support you/ Bet you get tons of donation's

A: Not really Curse forge has a plan that they give devs something but it can be as low as $0.15 every 3 days! its like 12p in the UK there not a lot we can buy for 12p over here 1 pt of mink is around 55p. (this plan used to be great before twitch and minecraft came! )

the 1st year i got a good £60 from cruse that got me some pc stuff!

Now i just cashed out £30 for about 4 years work and even then i had to give tax info!

As for donation's they come slowly even if i gone out my way to help/add something for someone.. Anyway am not trying to make anyone free bad but when i can not even get a thank you from half the people i know now you was more supporting then i had in my head. Jamba peeks at around 3000 downloads and it was hard to track where the information should be put it seems here my main place is not fully so when you do a big update they did not see

To Request a feature then use my Bug Tracker (https://bitbucket.org/blossom_ebony/ema/issues) (again you do not need an account to post there) and put it as a enhancement don't be silly and set the Priority high is not funny and if anyone does then ill lower it and put it at the bottom of the list thing about what your doing you help me you help yourself and you help all the other EMA users. Q: "Push Settings" now working????

A: So it seems That A Lot does not understand how to setup a team without isboxer doing it for! and then reporting "push Settings not working!!!!!" Right So you Need to Add the Team List on your "master" of all the chars You would like to push the settings to As Well on the they need the master (or the teamList as well) so they can Trust the "Master" WITHOUT THIS ANYONE COULD SEND YOU SETTINGS and you know how much you could get trolled with someone with half a brain? As well if two boxer was to group up settings could get mixed up!

There is a isboxer "Sync" that you need to turn on in the ISBoxer module then Relog your team for them to get a teamlist!

Quick question... my games have started to freeze completely for 1 to 2 secs everytime i loot. It happens a little bit rarely after i relog. Sometimes it comes and goes. Anyone happen to find a fix? I do use EMA, have advanced loot on and autoloot ingame.

Not happened at all last 15 min, mysterious ;). ...ehh not, its back again..... eh i restarted the pc, no stutters now...that lasted maybe 15 min...its back

Seems its addon related, not nessesary EMA. Will investegate. Have to keep the game running like 15 min or so between each addon i enable, as its around then freezing usually begins.

Most of the loot lag I have found is associated with either Lootappraiser, and/or TSM3 / TSM4.

Also at one point I was getting 15+ sec loot lag on one or two characters and found Allthethings was the culprit (was only running on the master char).

Turning off addons to remove the overall memory usage seems to help for me, alongside doing the intermittent /reload on the offending character.

covers all you need to know, as far as your settings for each Mod that info is stored else where in the the WTF folders

I do know how to download and extract the addon, and its easy enough to drag the new version into the addons folder, and then just "replace / overwrite" the old file.


So my personal settings wont be deleted by updating the addon itself (which is located under the folder named "addons"), since my custom settings are stored in the "wtf" folder.

I updated jamba through the twitch app about 5 hours ago sad to see it was a big mistake. only been using jamba for a few months so im sorry to see all this! amazing work ebony and thank you for everything. any way i can get the previous version? did i have jamba-ee? it had the isboxer team import option... i familiarized myself with it right before BFA launch and i liked it so much more than the older versions. if someone could point me to a jamba-ee or EMA download it would be very much appreciated!

Well, i was obviously happy about the addon and the fixes the author did to it, so it works with bfa. The updated versions along the way were to become available at a certain website. Thats why i donated and became patreon. I dont expect updates often. But the updates thats been released, i wish access to atleast. Or else = no more patreon from me.

hello ebony, i am new here but i love the addon. one problem i have, can you tell me how i can cancel or stop the minions from following the master for some time? currently i use /ema-follow strobeonme all to initiate follow, but i have no way of stopping it. i can use /ema-follow strobeoff all to stop it temporarily but they always come back and follow me 5-10 seconds later. even reloading ui or restarting my game does not fix it, they continue to follow me and it makes it difficult to farm some items efficiently.

Normally you would break follow with some movement of the slaves.

i can use /ema-follow strobeoff all to stop it temporarily but they always come back and follow me 5-10 seconds later.

yes some realms the Guild bank is so broken it finds it hard for the api to work out a place there is such a delay added now to stop the duping items that i had to add one i might do it where you can pick the delay to your realms/liking

1. I deleted all isboxer virtual files
2. Restartet isboxer
3. Did a new export to innerspace
4. /reload ingame

Just wanted to give EMA a try again but the folllowstrobing doesnt work at all for me. I uninstalled jamba. Also the commands /ema-follow strobeonme all
and /ema-follow strobeoff all doesnt seem to do anything. I really like EMA more and want to get it running. I didnt post on the bugtracker because i think its a personal issue. But i cant figure it out. Im not using the Isboxer sync. Everything is working exept the followstrobe.

In Isboxer under the category "Character Sets"...."Slot1" .."When I switch to this chracter" i enabled the "Do mapped key" JambaStrobe/JambaMaster opotion. So when i press F1 the toons follow my mainchar again. That works. But i have to do this all the time. Didnt have this issue with Jamba yesterday. Can someone give me a hint?

Jamba the old Legion jamba if you was not using beta.

jamba-ee was the remake that did not work out for everyone, renamed to EMA.

There is a huge noticable performance drop -for me- since last ema updates.

Main issues are :
1.Loot windows staying open on slaves ~30% of the time.
2.Ram usage went up to 1,9gig per client.
3.Slow and "laggy feel" when looting.
4.Gameplay doesnt feel "smooth" anymore (subjectiv)
5.Follow-Strobe gets bugged more often and i have to /reload then.

The only addons im using are : bagnon,dominos,scrap,isboxer,ema,gnomesequencer.
I really like the cool ema features like mailing but when i switch back to jamba all
current ema issues just simply go away and the ram usage is at 1,5gig top

I dont want to rant about ema or something (english isnt my main language so it probably sounds like it).
Its a great tool made by a nice person :)

Im using EMA 8.0.1 Release (0102)

1. I mean the bug where the loot window stays open on the clients after looting. Im using blizzard fast loot+ema loot.

2. I dont know what to say either. Ema uses like ~400mb more ram than jamba per client. im no expert. I have no idea =)

I run the addons :

Dominos
Bagnon
Isboxer
Ema or Jamba
Gnomesequencer (have to learn isboxer pro to get rid of this sht already)
Scrap

With Ema i sit at 19xx mb used per client and when i switch to jamba it goes down to like 15xx mb.
I know my "it feels more smoother...not so laggy" doesnt help you. But thats how it is.


3+4 Perhaps its the more-ram-usage. I only got 16 atm the moment and after a while of playing with 5 accounts (with ema activated not with jamba)
it starts to hang here and there...the slaves start to fall behind when following...more choppy...and so on.
I dont know how to better visualize it for you ;(

Ryzon 5 1600x 6Core
16 MB DDR4
am small SSD only for windows 10+WoW
Geforce 1060 6mb

Mainclient runs on lowest possible details 100%renderscale. Same on the slaves but 33%renderscale. The cpu sits at 15-20% and the gpu at ~20% most of the time. That cant be the bottleneck. I deactivated most of the stuff in windows 10 and also dont run any other background apps like browsers or netflix
and so on. I think i could push the mainclient way harder if i wanted to. But graphics dont matter to me.


5 .FollowStrobe just stopps. Sometimes after gathering.Sometimes in or after combat. There is no pattern. What helps is to /reload
and push my /ema-team strobeonme all macro. But sometimes even this only lasts till ne next action that causes follow to break.
After relaunching the clients it works again.

I never switch group members around and/or change the leader.

I often change zones...fly...port...zone in and out.Yeah. Things that happen when you play a lot.

i really, REALLY, miss the option to delete items that cant be sold to vendors... i can see we can set the option to the items on the list, but the problem is that once the list grows addon sync suffers greatly.

for a while on jamba we could hold alt to sell at vendor, and if the item had no sell price it would delete it.

The warning for follow broken doesn't seem to work if a member of the team gets "out of range" (example: druids switching to flight form and one member of the team gets "stuck" on the ground). I can fly away to such a distance that the follow is broken and when I switch to the stuck druid he is no longer following but I never get a warning about it.

I do, however, get a warning if I switch to a team member while following and manually move him backwards (breaking follow manually). It just seems that when follow is broken automatically because of distance that the warning is not given.
