4x Wow accounts

Hey everyone, I'm new to Multi-boxing and everything, and I'm problem for sure going to do it, but what i don't understand is when i buy the 4 accounts. I already have the Wow CD's and Burning Crusade CD's, so would i need to buy 3 more Wow Boxes and Burning Crusade boxes? or is there a way to just buy a serial? Thanks guy, there are so many helpful threads on the site, You guys rock!

And also, if I have 4 mages, would i still need to use all the macros and everything? Wouldn't everything be exactly the same as the first window? I'm problem wrong but might as well ask.

You *can* buy only serials but it costs you the same and I am not sure how legit the sites are that sells you serials only. Some of them look really dodgy.

Rather look for specials. Remember to use the "referal" so you get free time.

If you are using a single computer you also need software to send keystrokes to all your WoW sessions, one of KeyClone, AutoHotKey, Synergy, Octopus, etc.

Macros:
You need the macros for targeting purposes. Your main knows what to attack because you select it in your main window. Your clones have to assist your main somehow and this is what most of us do in the macros. Using TAB targeting is possible but unreliable. Depending on their camera viewpoints your clones might be targeting something other than your main.

So, if you can deal with targeting without using macros then, yes, you don't need macros except for spell rotations later on when you want to optimize dps for instance or when you run out of hotkey space and start combining abilities inside macros with modifiers.

As long as your other details are exactly the same as the other accounts, I think no one would care, as I _think_ multiple email adress is alowed by Blizzard

I'm problem wrong but might as well ask.You will still need to use some /assist macros for targeting. You CAN just assign a "target nearest enemy" key and hit that but sometimes you really want to be able to attack a particular target and that key won't help. Also, with 4 mages, if you use a macro, you can set up your guys to cast frost nova in sequence one at a time. This is MUCH more helpful than using up 4 different keys for one spell. ;)
