I just started dual-boxing today and have found all the threads really helpful in getting things started :D

Everything is working great but there is one slight problem I am having which I cant seem to find a solution to. Basically after going through a
few threads Ive noticed that most peoples screens looked to be fullscreen mode in wow while still having multiple instances of wow running, whereas
whatever I try I can only seem to get my 2 wow's to open at the sizes specified in keyclone maximizer but they open as to windows which I need to drag
into place everytime ;(

Sorry if its not quite clear but here a screenie I borrowed from another thread and a pic from my setup:

I noticed that even though each section isn't filled out fully, there are black spaces rather than his desktop

Whereas the closest I can get to fullscreen with my 2 copies is this

Notice the top of my autohide start menu and the windowed border around both screen.

My monitor is 1650x1080 and my current settings for maximizer are:

[regions]
count=2
region_name_00='wowalt'
region_00=1,0,750,1679,1049,0,0
region_pip_00=0,(0.0.0)
region_name_01='wowmain'
region_01=1,0,0,1679,749,0,0
region_pip_01=0,(0.0.0)

Any help would be much appreciated :thumbsup:

Hi rob, thanks for the reply!

You will no doubt be bombarded with notes from me in future but for now your safe ^^

Well the fix was rather simple actually, I just had to tick the maximized box in the wow video settings then
I opened wow again via keyclone and it was perfect :P

Here is the end result:

:thumbup:

Some may notice I havent resorted my UI for each toon but as Im running wow from the original folder I didnt want to potentially mess up the settings with my main. I can now see why most people make multiple copies of their orginal wow folder for boxing :whistling:

Anyway hope this can help someone out someday!

If you got the spcae, ya.. I'd make multiple copies for the multibox specific UI setup. You'll thank yourself. It'll make boxing that much smoother, comfortable, enjoyable.

Besides, within days you'll realize yer never gonna play solo ever again anyways :thumbsup:
