So after a long long long time trying and trying to get the toons (5 of them now) on pc nr 2 to be able to lead (and all the others follow and assist that character), it just wont work.

I then accidently noticed this post:

http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=266

"There isn't currently a way built in to set up the FTL modifiers for multiple PCs, no"

And the link given, to a potensial help page isnt working:
http://lavishsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4438

I wish this was properly communicated earlier, spent days on this :(

Anyway... now i need help please from others, how you managed to solve this.

(sidenote: assist and follow is working from all slots on pc nr 1 (10 toons)).

/mind blown

Dragging out the old posts.

When you setup your WoW team, each slot is assigned an FTL modifier. Because ISBoxer doesn't create 2 teams at the same time, it does not know that the FTL modifier you want to use on the second team shouldn't conflict with those of the first team, so it uses the same ones.

The fix is, on your second team, check each slot, and make sure the FTL modifier options are unique across both teams. This is covered many times on the multi computer posts involving WoW, but I guess just not in your results.

Anyway, the default FTL modifiers for a five man character set are LEFTSHIFT = slot 1, RIGHTSHIFT = slot 2, LEFTCTRL = slot 3, LEFTALT = slot 4, LEFTCTRL+LEFTSHIFT = slot 5. So for your second team, pick some others. There are 26 combinations between the lefts/rights/3 mods.

Wow thanks for quick reply.
I sure noticed that i could only choose 1 character set at a time, but i was certain it was possible to include character set "nr 2" maybe thru making another set of actions in there somewhere /cough. Seems not indeed.

Ok i will make some efforts. So similar strat for assist aswell as follow it seems.

Sidenote: and why havent someone already made "ready to go" templates for some "possible regular multi pc setups" already for this a long time ago. It would sure have come in handy :p

This is my current FTL follow keys on toon 1-10

Nr 1= left shift
Nr 2 = right shift
Nr 3 = left ctrl
Nr 4 = left alt
Nr 5 = left ctrl + left shift
Nr 6 = left shift + left alt
Nr 7 = left ctrl + right shift
Nr 8 = left alt + right shift
Nr 9 = left ctrl + left alt
Nr 10 = left ctrl + left shift + left alt

When i then go to character set for toon 11-15:
The option to choose "right ctrl and right alt" (the place in your picture), they are greyed out.
I cant choose amongst them to create ftl for 11-15.

Do you know why this is the case?
They seem possible to click/choose in the picture you gave.

MultiPC setups don't come up as often as you think, and I'm going to say ISBoxer was not really designed with MultiPC in mind. It would require a fair redesign to have the wizard apply a standard multiPC template, which people would then get annoyed at because it didn't do what they wanted.

As for the options being greyed out. Not sure. I've checked a couple of options to see whether I could get the same behaviour, but it is not apparent whether it is a selected option or not. It may be a language thing, if you are not using enUS, then it may be recognising something in the OS settings. Failing that, it would require a bit more digging to figure that out.

Turns out it is because your keyboard layout is reporting it has an AltGR key on the keyboard. I also have one, but I use enGB language and GB layout. Your language and layout are causing it to report differently, and ISBoxer is reading this as though you do not have a Right ALT and Right CTRL. Or more that they are not selectable, because ALTGr is effectively RIGHTCTRL+RIGHTALT.

You sir is a absolute legend.

I got the keys enabled now.

Though i cant find almost any of the spesial keys anymore haha, like the "wierd A to write emails" etc.

I made these up last night

1 left shift
2 right shift
3 left ctrl
4 left alt
5 left ctrl + left shift
6 left shift + left alt
7 left ctrl + right shift
8 left alt + right shift
9 left ctrl + left alt
10 left ctrl + left shift + left alt

11 left ctrl, right ctrl
12 left ctrl, right ctrl, right shift
13 left ctrl, right ctrl, left shift
14 left ctrl, right ctrl, right alt
15 left ctrl, right ctrl, left alt

Gonna try this when i get back from work this afternoon.

Once you have the FTL things configured, you might be able to switch your keyboard settings back to normal. I tend to run multiple and switch between them (before loading stuff), and it works out alright. I'd set the defaults to what you normally use, and if you ever have to muck around with the FTL options, switch back to whatever allows you to select the tickboxes. Worth a shot anyway.

Btw.... im pretty sure others out there would have loved a "official" guide on how to setup FTL over multiple computers. And also include all possible key combinations, in case someone wish to play max limit amount of characters.

Here is a wiki:

If anyone is up to the task :)
