Before you use your free boost

It seems they removed the free level 3 garrison in the new BfA level boosts. I guess they figure that content is outdated for the next expansion? Anyhow..

But if you use the class trial and boost that toon, it will still include the level 3 garrison, and double the number of 22 slot bags.

You need to level to 20 to get the garrison in the boost, and level to 60 if you want professions in the boost.

Kinda hard to get to 60 in anything but DKs before, now its probably a nightmare.

Imo, the profession boost is not worth it. You get boosted to 600, which is easily obtainable for all crafting professions thanks to the garrison catch up mechanics. Maybe for gathering professions but the time it takes to level to 60 is probably better spent leveling up professions in your level 3 garrison and in the world.

I tend to agree.

Also, with the new professions only going to 100 it sounds like they may be shifting towards a system where you don't have to level old expansions if you don't want to. ie subskills for each expansion, sort of like sub reputations. In such a system, if you only care about the latest shuffle and not earlier ones, you'd be fine without boosting the profession.
