Opening more than one account issues.

i'm trying to open a second account on my computer but for some reason i think that the -launch in the shortcut doesn't work anymore. It opens the game to the log in and then errors out. anyone have any ideas? I was able to open 4 accounts on my computer for years now and as of a week ago it just errors out.

Okay... "it errors out" can you be more specific as to what error you're getting?

I assume you're using ISBoxer? Have you tried the development build of Inner Space? Right click Inner Space and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.

Otherwise we would generally ask for "Compatibility Diagnostics" from a running instance of the game (or the launcher if that is what is crashing). http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics

unfortunately I have not been able to renew my isboxer so I was just opening a second account just to drop gear for them. it's not an error from ISboxer.

this is the error from the shortcut that I created and then added the -launch to in the command line. Normally works and always has but seems to not want to anymore. I deleted the shortcut and made a new one and still getting the same error.

There should be a complete error log in the Diablo III\Errors folder which should detail the issue. If you want you can send that to me and I can take a peek at it.

I was talking to blizzard agent and he said to run a repair on the files. did that, didn't help. But i was able to install another D3 in another folder and get it to the loading screen. restarted my computer and now its updating the new installed game. so I might be able to open multiple games now. It is weird because I have always just used one install and then the shortcut with the -launch and open as many as I wanted. we shall see what happens. lol

I had to do the same work around to open more than 1 account on the same computer.
