Arcane Mages?

Are they viable for boxing? Was thinking of just demolishing instances with 5 x arcane, but don't see much talk on them - BM hunters seems favourable.

Mages are very proc based so they don't work as well cloth can take a lot of dmg why most go for hunters/locks as pets

I don't think you would burn down any bosses with mages before you died. Unless you were way over-geared.

Back in 2011 I was enjoying 5 Arcane mages, mirrors for tanks. Not over leveled either, things change though :)

Unfortunately Mages just require too much micromanagement of procs in order to be functional. Arcane works the best of the three specs, but it's still kinda iffy.
