Curved monitors

I realize curved monitors provide better immersion when gaming. But that is only for solo right? If I use a lot of VideoFX windows and such I would want a flat screen or it would look weird, correct?

I ask because Amazon has 27" samsung curved screen with good reviews on sale for $179. Was thinking of getting a couple.

If that's a TV, then you should see if it's in the DisplayLag Database (https://displaylag.com/display-database/), because TVs can easily make terrible computer monitors.

Otherwise, I have no input on curved displays other than I think I want one. :)
