Are people just gold farming now?

Hello guys.

Whenever I pop on twitch I see a few multiboxer streams, but all the streams are just gold farming. Does anyone do PvE/PvP anymore?

Sure. I just don't think any of the ones that do are currently active streamers. Granted I think this expansion has lured a lot of us in to more gold farming, since it's incredibly lucrative, so people are taking advantage of it while it lasts.

I stream when I do my weekly LFR farm for legendaries, and then the follow-on pvp.

I don't know how people are making money now, though, haha. As the price of chaos crystals drops the nether disruptor loses value.

I have been farming and streaming farming since August. After 15 months of leveling over 250 toons to level 90 during back to back RAF's while streaming it, I finally reached a point where I can farm gold to purchase Tokens on the Auction House to pay for subscription fees. I was unable to get in to farming before because the RAF 90 days was to precious to waste doing anything else other than leveling toons through dungeon runs. Now that the RAF's are over i am able to start learning farming and farming. At the moment I pay for all 26 accounts with just farming gold for tokens. So after 15 months of paying WoW $150.00 a month I am finally able to play with out paying out of pocket. I think your seeing a lot of multiboxers that stream farming because they have little time for anything else or they enjoy the farming aspect of the game more. As soon as I get crafting setups and gold making techniques that are just login and do a,b,and, c I'll be raiding hopefully and leveling toons from 90 to 110

Nice scheme. I still prefer this old school way.

Do they still drop 101 boes? Thought it had been nerfed although not checked or been there for a while.

there is a new spot just south over the bridge everyone is using now, not as good as the last tho. Also having an 8man team "2 groups of 4" split evenly for tags brings up the value with kill speed

Doing a hyper spawn farm that is close to the old loyalist farm in suramar, the usual silk/101 BoEs and raw gold/greens, it's just over the bridge to the south and around the corner to the right, You can look up pechthefarmer on twitch and look at his saved videos to see where and how :D

Realm prices vary a lot and you will have to figure that bit out for yourself. Then factor in if you have time / cba to craft / DE items vs just selling the raw mats etc.

i have been changing it up lately, i was just selling the cloth raw for a long time but have recently had a sale drought, So i have been crafting/DEing and selling the shards raw, they sell within 2-3 hours of posting almost Every single time. Hit a high of 1400 stacks of cloth there for a bit :\

Follow up on these hyper spawns. How often are you supposed to loot the mobs before the corpses decay, and if you don't have fetch/loot a rang is this not a viable option?

So i did not keep track of time spent..but I just made 200k, in what seemed like a relative short time for just doing WQs. It was the 20 WQ weekly quest. I use the +gold bonus items on my followers WQ. Gold for WQs, DEing everything ( all my toons have enchanting), selling everything that dropped from mobs etc.

I'm sure they money from just farming those mobs adds up to more, but this was way less boring. I do any easy quest i can fly to and not have to click on any items. I do some argus quests, but only the WQs that kill a named mob.

Its easy for us MBs to make gold when that is your focus. Enchanting mats have went down a lot, but they still sell fast. Any crafting mat sells fast. My last auctions were a mix of all kinds of mats.
