Hey Guys,

i just started Multiboxing (in WoW) two weeks ago and slowly getting a hang of it. I started using Keyclone on my iMac (running it with vine, since its a windows software) and it's working well so far.

I also have a Windows Laptop lying around so i was wondering - and google and the forum-search couldn't help me out until now - if there is any Software that allows me to Multibox on my Mac and my Windows Laptop simultaneously? I know there are some Programms for Multiboxing on two or more Windows-PC's, but nothing that works cross-platform.

I tried running HotKeyNet with vine on my Mac, but its not connecting to my Laptop - pretty sure its because i run it with vine and not 'natively' on a Windows PC since it calls for some drivers to be installed properly. (For all people wondering what 'vine' is: basicly a software that allows you to run most windows software on a mac)

A software Solution to extend my Macs Screen onto my Laptop would do aswell - if anyone knows something. Currently i'm using Synergy for Keyboard and Mouse Sharing with my Laptop, but it doesn't share or extend my Screen so for that matter just solves half the problem ;)

Any help is appreciated :) Thanks in advance!

P.S.: I know there is Boot-Camp, and that would be my last-resort kinda... but would appreciate a solution without changing my operation system. And don't start with 'Mac's not made for gaming' stuff... i'm well aware that using a windows pc for gaming is easier - i still prefer my mac for working and by chance am using it to play video games ;)

I don't know of any software that is going to run, natively, on both OSX and Windows—OSX multiboxing programs have, as far as I know, long been abandoned. So, unless you try each and every Windows software solution on Vine to see if it will communicate with the Windows machine (assuming it has that functionality to begin with), you're out of luck.

Thanks for the quick response... unfortunately i expected that kind of answer :(

So i guess i'll be getting back to Bootcamp for that matter... seems like the easiest solution - even more after i read my own thread trying to explain my 'problem' :D

Anyways, thanks for your time.. and if by chance anyone stumbles upon this thread and knows a solution without bootcamp i'd be happy to read about it :)

Cheers

ultimately the mac isn't going to have the hardware to multibox more than one or two clients (if that) very well. Bootcamp is probably your best option if you have to have the mac involved.
