What's the cheapest way to get full Leigon on a new account? Would you get the battle chest, then this?

I've done it on 5 but can't remember the process!

What's the cheapest way to get full Leigon on a new account? Would you get the battle chest, then this?
The cheapest way is:


Create a trial account
Create a character on said trial account (you may also have to log in with it)
Fully exit the game
Restart the game client
Upgrade the account for 50% off through the big pop-up that now appears when you log in
Buy discounted Legion
Apply Legion game key to account
Repeat steps 1 through 7
