I've been poking around the code base for The Commons (http://www.dual-boxing.com/commons) a good bit lately looking to upgrade the style / theme to match the default light style we have now as well as add / revisit some functionality.

What do you love about it? What do you hate about it? What would you like it to do that it doesn't currently?

Overall I like the functionality. I think it would be great if it was more integrated into the actual theme, including ability to have latest posts in the forums shown. Would be nice to have integration with battle.net so I can pull in characters that way, ala wowhead. Lastly responsive layout :)

As a casual content consumer, I feel the overall layout is a bit... overwhelming? Maybe underwhelming? In the sense that on the default landing page is called "Hot content" and then there is a wall of submissions... and that's it other than the menu on the left. I think a more user friendly landing, with a small sample of the different offerings that are available (screenshots, videos, teams, fun stuff, contest, sandwiches), instead of the all in one feed. I think it should be recent additions and not the "hottest" on the landing page.

I would be more inclined to visit and navigate the page/area and stick around if there was a better layout and more organization.

Also, sandwiches.

I'm not much into videos so usually just completely ignore the commons. I'd visit more often if it was mixed more with the forums like one of the above comments.

I also want sandwiches.
