Hello all,

getting more serious about multiboxing now. Five accounts: Check! Five systems capable of running them: Check!

My lineup is a simple one: Drenai Priest, Drenai Mage and three Human Warlocks. One of the warlocks is on my main account and therefore interchangeable with my developed chars which includes a 70 prot warrior.

While making a bunch of runecloth bags, I decided to also make a set of [Simple Black Dress]. Certainly looks nice, nice enough that I had to take a picture.

The crew is ready for action!

Anyone else who has a neat screenshot of their team?

Cheers, Steph.

Level 10 - Enter the Voidwalker!

From level 4 onwards I enjoyed the 'gank' option. Hit a target with smite, three shadowbolts, a fire bolt from the mage and three fire bolts from the imps at the same time. Looks awesome when it is flying in to the target. Either once or twice and the target is dead.

Currently I am enjoying the 4x Dot button for 3x Curse of Agony and Shadow Word: Pain. I sense the beginning of a wonderful grinding option. The downside is that the mob corpses will fall all around and not necessarily near me, but it is not like I care about the 2 copper pieces and the rusty dagger.

The Voidwalker is quite ok as meat shield at this low level. I have no idea how he will do in the deadmines, but I will find that out this weekend.

One thing that works beautifully are the cheapo enchanting created wands. Since each of my five chars has one and the damage output is very close to what I can do with spells this is very interesting. I am also fairly certain that you can not be interrupted when wanding, which made it handy compared to casting spells when monsters are pounding my characters in feeble protest against my attack.

Almost three months after starting the characters, my crew hit 70 yesterday evening! :D

/dances with joy.

Lots more to do, like one more gryphon, five more swift gryphons and some gear, but hey, a major milestone is reached and I wanted to share that with you guys.

More info can be found in my blog: http://www.captn-log.blogspot.com

Steph, what was the /played from 1-70? Also, I'm interested in the quic specs of the 5 systems you have. I'm currently 2 boxing, and am thinking of moving up in the world to 5 boxing. Whats the CPU/RAM/vidcard on each system? I'm trying to get the cheapest setup here. My secondary computer right now is a 2.6ghz P4, and I'm thinking that the bare minimum could be 1.8ghz P4.

Also, its generally know that to be an excellent PC Gaming Monitor, people like a response time of 12ms or less (I have my main computer at 8ms). Anyways, do the secondary computers need monitors that great? I'm thinking of getting the other 3 LCD monitors for as cheap as possible, and no springing for an 8ms response time.

Congrats Steph, that's awesome! My gang's at the ripe old age of 19 so far (!) - I'm in the process of finalising my setup, so piccies and more details some time soon.

I've been wavering though... much of my wavering centres around "what will I do then", so I hope you're planning to maintain the blog to inspire me!

Gratz on hitting 70!
What is your next goal? To see how far you can get in the lvl 70 instances or to do some pvp?
Anyways, have fun,
Bunny

Nice one Xzin! Gotta love the PvP title and fancy gear. I eyed the Gladiator's odds and ends yesterday. Lots of Eye-candy with excellent stats there.

Difficult question Ellay, I have not that many hours on the team now. I just managed to get the last gryphon after questing yesterday, so I am going to see now what happens. It's not my first time at 70, but of course the situation is different

/played is 22d.

My weakest system is my old notebook, a Sony Vaio PCG-V505CP. Pentium M 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 32MB ATI Radeon mobility 9200. I get approx 20+ fps in the Outlands on that.

I would not recommend paying more for a fancy display. You can pay more to get more fancy stuff, but with today's regular LCD displays being so good already, the 'game' displays do not really offer anything on top.

I will see what I can do. =]

I still have Coilfang and Auchindoun to finish, so I will tackle that first. I am also planning to form my own arena team and see if I can get any points in 5v5 and get myself some umbrellas. Uhm, Gladiator's War Staves I mean.

Thanks for your replies guys!

Cheers, Steph.
