freezes with Razer Orbweaver

Hey guys,

I've recently noticed some weird issues with ISBoxer + Razer Orbweaver.

I run a 5 man team setup and spam keys on Orbweaver with 0.140 delay. Randomly Orbweaver would disconnect and freeze up ISBoxer and WoW. After reconnect the key that was spammed at the time would be unusable in WoW and would remain unusable until computer restart.

This never happens if I do the same thing, but normally inside WoW, without ISBoxer.

Anyone encountered something like that?

Did you experiment with more reasonable speeds? .14 is very fast.

I don't have an Orbweaver myself, but unless it is natively supported (it's not on the list (http://isboxer.com/wiki/Supported_Input_Devices)), chances are it needs any management software you are running to be set to run as admin while using with Inner Space.

Otherwise, what are the keys being spammed? Are they hotkeys for mapped keys in ISBoxer? If they are, what are the mapped keys doing? If it is it more than a basic single key send through, then the frequency of the trigger may be an issue.

Just curious, what is the point of the delay?

Also I feel like I should point out that delays between key presses and ingame actions are a big no-no in WoW. Even the 1 frames delay in HKN needed to sync mouse for clicking was Often regarded as a grey area at best.
It might be that you will not get in to any trouble for very slight delays, but in theory they are condemnable as far as I'm aware.

Solved it. Will leave it here for future multiboxers.

1) Solution. Razer Synapse starts this secondary process RzStats.exe - it is used by statistics capturing screen of synapse. It measures key presses in all the games you play and it gets confused (I suppose) when you have many clients running, so it causes a crash. If you kill that process - you can play with ISBoxer and Orbweaver will work just fine.

2) Why .14 repeat delay? I'm using LazyMacros and for this specific one the macro designer recommended a repeat speed of .14

I use delays to imitate button presses while key is held down. Saving my finger joints.

Wubsie - many keyboards/mice etc. have button repeater and macro software. They are pretty common place nowadays. Havent heard of anyone getting banned, have you? I have used it for 7+ years to relieve carpal tunnel issues.

I'm aware of GCD, however GCDs are not synced between your characters. Different amounts of haste, different gear, different classes, etc. - GCDs are different. Also procs, that I'd like to use asap.

Whatever. If you knew about gcd you wouldnt be having issues. Also, you would be using isboxer pro system as well and not lazy macros.

Issue were not caused by any of that thou, but by razer stats capturing software :)

How does knowing about GCD translate to using Pro system? :P

And yes, I use key repeater, ISBoxer and LazyMacros! Guess I'm a bot, but hey, I love it :)
