I have jumped over to the hunter team to get a perspective from both. Hunter burst is amazing taking down bosses in 30 sec. I was able to get some decent mythic+ down this week.

I will keep going with both teams but if you want to push high mythics im thinking hunters are the way to go. Locks would be awesome if their pets were not a limiting factor.

Just a friendly tip... Photobucket is terrible because it resizes the images (I can't read anything in the image on my 1440p monitor) and blasts people with unavoidable pop-ups. Imgur (http://imgur.com/), on the other hand, is a much better image hosting/sharing site to use without all of the BS that Photobucket brings, it's simple to use, and is relevant in 2017. :)

Glad to hear! It is a really good team and really fun in pvp. 5x full heals is amazing while you are dotting up the world.

Nice one! I have not yet attempted CoS at such a high level with my hunters.
Last boss is definitely the hardest boss in there, and I remember being on some seriously low hp levels even on +2 runs ive done :)

What have you taken in the last talent tier, and have you got your pets set as tanks or dps? I find tank pets do nice dps especially with the aoe tank ability.

Killer cobra, being able to spam Kill command then Cobra shot over and over for 15 sec is some amazing burst. I don't think either of the other two talents could touch that.

All pets are set to tank.

I really wish there was a trade in system for legendary items. If you don't get the one you want trade it in +200 blood of sargeras or something.

I would really like the legs and shoulders on all. legs heal 70k per sec on main hunter. Fights where I take small aoe dmg my alts are down at 30% and my main is sitting pretty at 100%. It makes that big of a difference.

Woo, ugly snake down on +4. Actually beat the timer. I just wanted to finish it. My first attempt i wiped at 0%!!!! Went and killed Hatecoil and Deepbeard then came back for Serpentrix with lust. Got him 2nd try.

Absolutely! Here is from another post that i made earlier this week.

is my talent setup.

15: Way of the Cobra seems to be more dps than the other 2 and cobra shot hits really hard so why not buff it some more

30: Stomp is also a huge dps increase especially when you grab your 2pc bonus from night hold. chimera and dire frenzy dont really match up imo

45: trailblazer for movement speed.

60: I swap between Bestial Fury and Bink strikes depending on the encounter. They are both solid choices though.

75: I use intimidation on round robin for troublesome mobs like beginning mobs in BRH that dot they put on you us brutal.

90: A murder of crows i have in my normal rotation trash don't live longer than 15 sec most of the time so 5m+ dmg over 15 sec and it resets if you kill the mob before it falls off. Its always up. I hear volley can be good but i like the single target dmg of crows.

100: Killer Cobra- this is where a lot of your burst comes from when you hit Bestial Wrath. Just cobra shot, Kill command over and over for huge burst.

Def get some tank pets in there and make sure you misdirect to them. This will help with your agro a ton.

Also grab an addon called pawn. It will tell you if items you get are upgrades for the spec you are playing. Helps taking the thinking out of it when you have 2 items that are close.

Rotation: BM rotation is super simple. I spam kill command, Dire Beast, A Murder of Crows and this macro

This macro will call your pet if its dead and if not it will heal it on cooldown. This macro will not summon your pet if your hunter dies. So i have a seperate call pet macro for when a hunter dies.

I handle cobra shot and multi shot manually so i can swap between the two how i see fit.

Pets: I like Quilen for my pets because they can battle rez my other characters and they have a strong defensive cooldown called Stone Armor. When they fall below 40% hp they take 30% less dmg and regen 3% of their hp every 1 sec for 8 sec.

This may or may not be as good as a turtle for tanking but it has battle rez AND a defensive cooldown. This is why i use 5 of them.

I have Brez setup with healbot. I just swap to a character that has rez off cooldown and click my healbot frame to rez someone.

I really struggle with this decision, on one hand I really like the simplicity of the 5 dps set up, all uniform skills etc. I like the higher dps options, but how is running 5 hunters without the ability to use the holy trinity dungeon que?

Aside from leveling all the highest dungeons (Mythic+) need to be run to anyway. Once you are 840+ geared you will not do heroics or at least i find no need for the 825 gear they drop.

I do agree not being able to queue for timewalking dungeons is a little irritating but i just throw 2 paladins in with 3 hunters then 2 hunters in with my remaining 3 paladins. 10 dungeons later all is well.

I've found that having it round robin'd through the ATG actually has a positive impact on DPS, while still triggering a pet rez if need be.

I was trying to run a protection paladin, holy paladidn and 3 bm hunters. I definitely find that too hard to do, the healing sucks on the holy paladin, at least for me, my guy isn't geared up. Might go to 5 hunters.

Don't know how to keep boss aggro off my hunters. Everytime I fight Heimdall, my pets are up, i try to let them do their thing and he peels off on my hunter non-stop, I use misdirection and have to feign death 99% of the time and blow my turtle or my heal to keep myself up. I watch the videos and I don't see you guys having those issues so no idea at this point.

Yep. I infact changed 4 of my pets to Tenacity and one F. All of whom had growl on.

Yeah that is strange then. I run 4 hunter + 1 healer, and sometimes my healer will get aggro (but almost never my hunters), but it's fixed pretty quick with a growl (I don't have my growls on auto. I only use it when needed).

My spec is Stable / Stomp / Trailblazer / Blink Strikes / Intimidation / Crows / Aspect of the Beast.

Firstly Thank you for posts like these! I have only recently been introduced to Multiboxing and i must be honest it has revived WoW for me in a big way.

Unfortunately i am a super noob at this and have LOTS to still figure out. i have also opted for the 5 hunter setup, however i am currently still leveling 4 of them with my "master/main? already being at level 110.

Please if you have time or links to guides could you walk me through how you have setup up your action bars? I have the default wow UI.

While i do not use the default UI, i can tell you that downloading Bartender addon makes things much faster. Easy bar setup to the size of your liking and easy key bindings. I would definitely look into grabbing that.

If you are dead set on using default UI i will not be much help as I've used bartender for years now and know nothing else =P.

Usually what i do is use mouse broadcast to move them all around to the spots that i want so all are exactly the same on one team. Then relog so it's saved. I can then log on to another team and just copy the profiles from first team on every team i make.

There may be a way to do it through your addons folder but a quick look through and i don't see any way to copy account settings.

I installed Grid and have the 5 toon names to the left the action bars, but I can't figure out how to remove the WoW too name plates and standard bars, and which addon to use to set up what you have. Currently i use pitbull unit frames which is the left side of my screen. Shows my group and pets. The bars to the left of my buttons is healbot which i use to 1 click brez. I dont use grid at all. Once you install pitbull the default frames will go away.

Hey KenLeeZA good to hear that you are progressing well!

I agree some of the fights can be troublesome with movement. Which fights are you having trouble with in particular? What difficulty are you working on? What ilvl is your gear?

I use follow mainly but also setup a strafe left and right key. This will get you out of most bad mechanics much quicker than following.

There are sample formations in the ISBoxer toolkit under Base hotkeys. I use the Line formation to spread my characters. All you need to do is setup a hotkey that you want to use to perform the spread and make Make sure your movement keys are configured correctly under Variable Keystrokes.

It is fairly self explanatory from that point but if you need additional assistance i could probably post a couple screenshots to help you on your way.

My teams ilvl is still fairly low the highest is sitting at 850 with the lowest being around 829. So I'm working the gear side of things in Broken Shore.

I am trying to do normal and heroic dungeon runs. Mostly normal at this stage trying to get used to all the mechanics of different fights etc.

tHe biggest problem i have is moving he whole team out of "fire" so I think I also need to do the stage setup. If you could elaborate on this a bit I would be very grateful. As I am still rather unfamiliar with what all IsBoxer is capable of. If I may ask what keys did you assign them to? And are your standard movement keys WSAD?

As for the formations ions I will have a look at it under the variable keys section and try to figure it out. Shouldn't be too difficult.

another question I have is a about the click boxes? Can you setup more than just the 1 through =? Like it would be in the vanilla UI?

There are two main formations that help me avoid mechanics; line formation and just normal avoidance using strafe keys + up/down.

Formation #1 - Line Formation.
I know there is one already setup in ISBoxer, however I use my own as it for no reason, regardless it helps spread the toons where I see fit (and however I wish). It starts off by setting up two different keybinds; I use insert and delete. I'll show an image how you setup the keybinds followed by a print screen of how I set mine up in ISBoxer. To perform this spread, you begin by pressing insert followed by delete (whatever the two keybinds you use to setup).

Formation #2 - Movement Keys.
Now, my movement keys for my other toons besides the main are literally the arrow keys (up, down, left and right) and correspond to the keys at which they represent. So up is up, down is down, left is strafe left and right is strafe right.

When it comes to setting up in ISBoxer, you need to make sure you tick the box that makes it press the keybind when held down. This will make sure that they keep performing that action until you release the actual button which is what you're after when performing movement keys. There are other formations but I haven't really found them necessary for any boss fight. I heard that someone uses star formation to defeat Serpentrix; the point here is if you deem it useful then it is, it's your setup.

Another thing that came to mind was making your toons jump, this is useful especially for the first boss in CoS. In the Movement Keys image at the top you'll see an 'Others Jump'. It seperates the toons jumping while at the same time enables me to make all my toons jump. For the main I just press space bar while the other ones I press control + space bar.

As far as the click boxes, I cannot help you there. I know minimal on the subject to portray an accurate opinion to help. Hopefully the formation/movement aspect helped though. If you have any additional questions, by all means ask away. I'll try get back when I can.

Thanks Chib for responding to Ken. Unfortunately (or fortunately) for me i have taken a promotion recently which pretty much killed my wow time completely. I will most likely be shutting down the accounts. Hopefully in the future i may be able to return and play again but as of right now all of my focus is required for RL.

Good luck hitting your goal of a +20 Chib. I cant wait to see the footage of that one. Hopefully someone else can push the 5 hunters to an amazing level as well. My best was +13 with Rsham+4 hunts.
