Nighthold trash farming results in yet?

Have anyone tried to multibox the trash there yet?

I read from reddit that some raiders have got some shiny BoE loots. They're selling titanforged ones for like 1 Million gold each item, but I'm not sure if any sane people would pay that much for just single slot upgrade :P

Remember the Bastion of Twilight trash or Firelands naga packs? A multiboxer could sheep(!) each naga in the pack and then nuke them down one by one. How is the trash? Are they Crowd Controllable?

If any of my team meets the requirements, I might want to try 10box something there this weekend.
I'm just not sure what to expect..:confused:

I went in to see if I could get to the WQ mob without killing the first boss (the mob is past it in the instance), and naturally cleared the trash up to it. The trash is easy enough and I don't see any trinity/tank stack setup having too much difficulty with it Just a bunch of ground AOEs, exploding mobs and ones that do a type of flurry attack, so nothing we've not seen before or could not deal with. Could try farming it a few times and see what I get. Wasn't even aware that trash drops are still a thing.

Ok, so I did try it until I hit the "you've entered too many instances" limit.

I've now got it down to where I do all the trash up to the first boss in 3 pulls, clearing all of it in 2 minutes. I pull the first corridor (2 groups) at once, then the scorpion guys at the bottom of the stairs, and then all the rest.

Sadly however, I only got 1 drop, which was a belt that is being listed at about 20k, so at this rate it would be nowhere near worth it for me. I might still do it out of boredom and trying to get some gear for my toons and naturally if you get a lucky titanforged proc then things are completely different. For example a Warforged (880) version of the same belt has a going rate of about 200k. Whether they actually sell... who knows.

The stupid thing is that the world quest boss is after the first raid boss.. couldn't even get it done with 30 of us from grp finder..

I did four runs and got three epics. Two of'em were 870, one procced to 875. This is probably better than farming herbs for me (20 toons), and if you spike a 900+ ilevel proc...

Are you talking about running the entire instance?

I cleared trash up to the first boss over and over until I 'entered too many instances' and did not receive a single epic. I gave up.

How many characters did you have? There might be a minimum number to generate BoE drops maybe?

so far even on hc that is just as easy btw, av got nothing the cort yard after the 1st 3 bosses is the best place to farm i hear, they are many LFG groups framing that i guess you could join one to get the ID? and then use that. am not sure how raidID work anymore.

Has anyone tried to kill that first boss? Also, im not sure how the loot works.. there were clumps of trash that dropped nothing for me and some that did.

I have gotten 4 885 belts and a 890 belt so far farming heroic trash with my 5 guardian druids :O, i have a lockout saved passed chronomatic anomoly and have been using that, So far i have sold the 890 belt for 130k and 2 of the 885 belts for 60k each

I tried with 5x pali tanks, got him down to about 90%. Feels like I need dedicated heals, but unlikely to beat enrage timer in any case.

I don't have a lockout after the first boss. Clearing up to him on Heroic I still averaged one piece per run (well, maybe .8 or .9 per run).

Sheepishly, I'll admit the first round of clearing I did on Normal--I didn't think Heroic was available haha. This is *much* better money for time spent than herbing.

I've done several clears up to the first boss on heroic with my 5 pallies. Got a few greens as a reward so far!

Remember that I'm running 20 toons, so I get 20 rolls on the personal loot table vice 5, 10, or whatever.

Tried again on 25 man heroic, trash was as easy as normal. With my 5 pali tank team I managed an 895 plate belt.

I'll probably run it from time to time when I am bored for the gear to equip. Doesn't seem worth it for AH gold with just a team of 5.

Yeah, I'm averaging like 5-7 minute runs with .8 pieces per run. That's cash.

I encouraged myself and headed into this raid dungeon with 10 Paladins. Had a few runs which resulted one 900 hc titanforged cloak, and a 885 hc plate belt. (I had the dungeon mode set to heroic by accident but I don't mind ;) )

The trash was quite easy indeed; Only mob I had trouble with was the acid scorpion, which throws a lot of acid on the ground, and the damage ticks quite fast. With 10 IWT toons running around they took quite a bit of that damage. Gladly there is no corpse run, the dead characters just spawn back to start of the dungeon

My team now at around 850, gave this a go (1x HolyPal / 4x BloodDK).

Was hard work and managed to get through with only 1 wipe (acid). Will try a few more runs and see if it's worth while for the gear, my ilvl lets me down a bit but still managed to clear it! :)

Sounds like the only ones enjoying this have 10+ toons. The droprate is terrible for me with 5, its also taking a bit longer than 5-7 minutes.

Going to keep running it to gear up though, the gear is nice. I hope they don't nerf it.

I only did one run to see if I could do it and not been back, am tempted to give it a play session to see if anything drops as to me the gear is as good as a legendary'ish :D

I did this in the morning trying it with 1 pally and 4 DK for an hour cleared it 8 times all ILVL around 870 and did not get 1 piece of BOE epic

The trash was easy wish more items would drop to make it worth while

Normal and hc are both flex. 10-30 mylic is 25 might be a good try i could not do this as i have a few cross realm toons.

When I put that i900 cape on auction for 320,000g I thought no-one would ever pay that much for one gear item. Happy to see I was wrong. After AH cut I received 304k for such a little effort.

My 10 paladins are fresh, but they are all protection specced.
Average item levels barely 800 on each.

My iLvl is around 870 on my 5 pali tank team. I've probably farmed about 3 hours total and received one 895 belt. Tried heroic, normal, 10, 25, mythic, and the gear dropped on 25 man heroic setting.

Guestimating about 1/3rd the drop rate of a 10 man team based on comments here.

ilvl 830 prot pally team - did 10 runs to scorp - normal for the first few, then heroic before I got called away. 2 870 cloaks.
Was being cautious because of their ilvl. Was fun as they were seconds from death the entire time. :D
Will put a proper team through there this weekend.

I guess they nerfed the drop rate in this week's update. I just did five runs on mythic and got nothing.

I didn't even know the mythic was opened until today :P But I'm quite sure there haven't been any silent nerfs, just RNG being RNG.
I cleared five times in heroic until first boss the other week, and got nothing, so it's perfectly normal, don't let the loot gods depress you ;)

Try and buy/get/boost for a lock out after the 1st 3 bossess there is a big cortyard that a lot of pug trash grps are farming.

Still it is a low drop and just rng.
