Has anyone successfully boxed leveling a team to 110. If so how much of a pain was it. Solo leveling just gave me a taste what this might en tale especially with profession quests and campaigns. To me i might have to rethink my professions to something like the 5 or 10 i lvl at the same time have the same professions. I believe this will be the easiest plus maybe the most cost effective an easiest way to make money thoughts or ideas.

Yes, i've gotten my main 24 man team to 110 yesterday. 20 dk's, 4 shamans. Not even going to bother with my other teams after that.

But then again I just did the Defense of Exodar scenario and I don't think any boxer will like that. Regular questing seems fine.

It is pretty bad. Once you get past the solo scenarios it isn't that horrible though except for a couple phases and some quests that do not share objectives with the group. It really does feel that they are intentionally trying to make it hard for multiboxers. But that could just be a side effect of the direction they are going with the game. Its tough, but i like the grind tbh.

I love it.. beats having a small amount of content followed by a year of nothing. I'm grindy at heart.. love to farm reps and mounts.. so all good for me.

That said I won't ever box more than 3 at a time.

I'm at 105 with my main team. Defense of Exodar x20 is... traumatic. Then I tried to do Helheim during my server's primetime--It took 4 hours.

This expansion is definitely not alt friendly for boxers. Pick a team and go.

Alternately, become an alcoholic.

Im just going to suck it up and get a few teams to 110. I have been tempted to pick a toon and solo level one to 110 so i can experience it that way ( actually pay attention to quest dialog etc..) But Its so hard for me to enjoy this game solo.. i like ESO for soloing, but not WoW.
As long as all the world quests are group-able..ill be good.

I will say that the exodar quest should be group-able.. it takes forever to kill the boss at the end solo!

Normal questing is fine, fun even. It's just like what I'm used to and what I'd expect. I am taking my time, doing every quest, clearing every shadow on the map.

Its just every once in awhile I find something that's like "ugh time for a break" and I have to go do something else for a bit.

The only other issue is that all zones are for all levels. So at level 100 you're easily ganked over and over and over again by the level 110s out questing there too.

Watched your stream a bit, and if anything, it made me not want to play more than five :P
Although I have to say it does look awesome :)

Anyway, been 110 for a few days now. There's tons of stuff to do which I love! I don't have time to come even close to finish all world quests so I only do the ones that there's an emissary for + ones that give gear upgrades.
Other than that I quest in the 110 zone which has a great story so far.
Tried dungeons a bit. Did not go well with ~795 geared all paladin team.
This expansion is REALLY not boxer friendly since (like WOD, but much more so) it wants you to feel like the main hero. Which means lots of solo scenarios.
Exodar scenario. That one alone makes me not want to level another team.
Artifact quest line is horrible as well. It's fine once. But then you get to 102 and get the quest to get the other artifacts of your class. 3 x 5 of the same thing, that more or less needs to be soloed. Not fun.

It's just a paradigm shift. I've accepted that I will probably only have two teams at 110 this expansion, unless something non-trivial changes to my primary team's capabilities.

At least I don't feel compelled to do 200-250 barns a day.

Judging a game over the leveling process, thats taking 2-3 days in most cases is sort of off no?

I mean, I hate the fact that so many quests make you either loot individually or do the entire thing solo too, but its not the leveling that I was trying to enjoy when I wanted to box. It was the end game content.

I might be missing something as I haven't gotten any team above 103 yet due to time constraints...

I have a druid team at 110 and im not finding group quests fun at all, teams get caught on alot of things on the ground, ive tried tank 3 casters 1 healer, 4 tanks 1 healer, 5 ferals and i cant find a happy medium at all to make it worth it debating just lvling my demon hunter solo as boxing seems like a drag and im having trouble seeing a future benefit

I got to 110 VERY easily just questing and doing normal dungeons with a 5x Protection Paladin team. Took me 3 days, but if I'd pushed it I could have done it in 2.

I'm about 75% of the way to 103 and I'll say these class quests are a major pain in the ass. They're easy as cake (the paladin healer artifact quest is mouth-breather stupid) but they have a lot of scripted, tedious content and you phase into your own solo instance to do them. I've spent as much real-world time doing class quests as I've done doing regular quests. I started in Stormheim and I figure I'm about 95% done with it.

60% to 108 on my pallys. Done retri (all) and 1 tank 4 holy. Just utterly boring. Especially when u try to skip the lore stuff to speed it up.
And knowing i have to do 4 of them again as tank. Facepalm
did stormheim but got stuck at elite killing 104-107 so have alot of places i to go after.

My Team just hit 110 a few mintues ago. Leveling/questing wasnt so bad. i didnt bother to do many of the class quests yet, since paladins class hall needs to be fixed, i was starting to do a few of the long time missions on some of them becuase those are the gated timesinks to progress the guild halls.

I've only found a few parts where i wanted to call it quits. Early on 100-101 when you just getting into the expansion is painfully slow. Stormheim intro quest is painfully slow, Stormheim seemed to drag-on and on but finally go through and high mountain went by way fast.

if i had another team to level i would do it again, but there are a ton of things for 1 team to do at 110 to get caught up, individual class quests/trade quests etc. That being said, i wouldnt level anymore more teams then 2 though, as by that point i'd be burn hard.

Still pondering on the paladins groups. keep hearing good things about them.

I hit 109.5 and I ran out of quests. I did everything except one dungeon quest. Now I'm scrambling around doing profession stuff and one or two random bonus objectives. Sigh.

I think overall the questing is improved for boxers.

I remember way back in the day where you had quests to collect 10 acorns off the ground or collect 10 bear livers, with a team of 5 you actually had to collect 50. Now with personal loot and node sharing all toons can collect the items off the ground and all toons get the quest drop. So that part is way better.

As for all the solo scenarios, all the class quests, crazy long time because you have to do them all one at a time. But we've always had quests we had to do one at a time, we might just be noticing them more because all the other quests are going much smoother.

But arghhh its frustrating sometimes. Today I had to do a quest where you draw runes on the ground by running, had to do it one at a time.

i mean now that im almost done with good sumaratin and getting ready to do my quests for professions to finish those up only thing i need to do is finish my artifacts for enhanced since im almost done there then ill have to do them all over again for resto oh man oh man. I would love to get my other toons up there as well lol.

You can kind-of do the runes as a group. Just put'em on follow and run it. You don't have to do it in order--You just have to run all over the stuff that's on the ground.

Yes, artifact quest lines and Exodar scenario are a pain but not prohibitively so. Also the WPVP has been quite fun too, especially once and 105/106 where I found it possible to take down a single, ganking 110

I play 20. Due to all the fancy spawns when you mine a node, I was averaging 1200-1500 ore per node lol. Day 1 it was 180g per ore rofl. Now it's at 90g per ore, so sososososososososo much gold. The most I had previously was roughly 14ish million. Now i'm up to 85m gold haha.
Fox flower and when they spawn 10+ frenzied fox.. which drop an extra 20 flowers per fox.. sooooo good. BEST EXPANSION EVER FOR BOXING $$ ^_^

well lucky u on my realm it started at 2g each ore now its 5g ish each ore i got a good 2000 ore from questing still not 110 but only made 45k

I'm only 5 boxing. But often get at least 1 basilisk spawn on felslate. With the price/availability on the other mats for the BS wrist (for obliterum quest) it meant the only thing I needed to get myself for them was the felslate.
With a char rank 2 on the BS bracer, it meant roughly 1 bracer per basilisk. I sold them for 30k early, and dropping to 15k just a few days ago. Good business :)

My main team is now 110. MW + PROTW + 3*MM.

I switched out of BM because fuck BM when questing. Pets are always in the way when looting / clicking things.

Class order halls haven't been bothering me as much as I thought they would. Yes, you do need to visit them once a day but that's generally it. A hassle but not nearly as bad as garrisons were.

Questing has been fun. At least once I specced out of BM. Pretty much the only time you will see solo phasing now is when you're doing instanced content. There you can park the rest of your team and do them one at a time. I pretty much did that on my main team.

Much better expansion than WoD.

I did consider that but..

I use a general 'Assist Me' macro for the teams. I could create an exception for hunters but after getting rid of my loot-a-rang macro I figured what the hell I'll just have them IWT to the corpse. This way they're all reasonably close to the leader.

Also many times they would just be stacked on top of each other due to the environment. Not much that could be done there. Especially with ground clicks. I got to about 105 before I decided nah, no more BM.
