Stuck on Paladin Class Campaign

I finished "the scion's legacy" by choosing 1 out of 4 options. Then only 1 out of 5 characters got the follow up (a quest to do a follower mission), and the quest npcs went to the same state on all characters, not offering the follow up.

I've tried to relog and re-enter the paladin class hall multiple times, still unable to pick up the quest on my other paladins.

This means I cannot progress on the paladin campaign further. Anyone else stuck on the paladin class campaign?


I've contacted a GM about this, however I have not yet recieved a serious response. The first response I got after over 24h was:

We don't support multiboxing so we wouldn't tailor our quests to work with multiple character played at once.


For this quest you need to speak to the NPC and make your choice of which mission to take. You would need to do that for each of your characters so they would all get the right one.

Which shows that the GM doesnt even understand the problem, even though I explained it very clearly.

Heh, a bunch of us are standing around the gravestone for The End of the Saga, and it's not clickable. Beginning to think I should just go do something else for a month until they make it out of beta.

I'm currently leveling my hunters and druids in the meantime, let's see how far they get.

same here with paladins.
right after the heart of light or whatever the name is in exodar.
one got to talk and decide where to focus the efforts, the others didn't and neither did they get the follower quest.

I guess the only approach for this issue is to make a ticket not as a multiboxer, but a single paladin; "Hey this quest did this and that or did not" and I'm sure they'll fix it soon enough

I had an issue like this with my shaman team. It was the last step just before you "empower your artifact" you become part of the earthen ring..after that little cerimoney you go talk to the nps infront of the cave that leads insdie the class hall but the entrence is blocked..you click on the rocks to clear them and then follow the npc inside. When i clicked on the rocks they cleared for everyone but only my main toon could see and follow the quest npc inside.

I had to abandon the quest on my alts.. port them back to dalaran, when they came back the quest was reset. SO it does seem to be an "in a party" situation. At some points in the class quests, if your grouped and in the same instance/area..if one member clicks on somthing to complete a step..it bugs the rest of the party.

Reading what you guys are talking about, it might be good to have your team on follow but not grouped for class quests? So this is not a multiboxing issue.. its a doing class quests with others of the same class grouped with you and on same step ( yes it effects us..but would also affect anyone grouped like this doing class quests together )

Ah yes, I also did this quest grouped, so that might be the problem. Thanks for noticing that!

Same for me, my paladins cant seem to do anything to get into the quest line again. I've stopped playing them and are leveling some other teams.
In the future I'll make sure to not be grouped when turning in anything quest-chain related.

there's a similar bug in the drake quests on stormheim, i will try not to spoil for the people that cares about that sort of thing, last quest in the chain has 3 requisites to complete, one is to get on the drake, second one is to do X and third one is to gtfo with the drake.

you can do part one and two, but the last requisite of the quest will not complete 80% of the time if you are on a team doing it in paralel, you have to drop quest and pick it up individually.

Just hotfixed:

Paladins should now be able to progress with their Class Hall Campaigns after completing the quest "The Scion's Legacy", by speaking with Lord Maxwell Tyrosus.

I was finally able to finish the paladin quests up through getting the first weapon tonight. Had to abandon the quest "The End of the Saga," pick it up out of group, go over solo one at a time and click the gravestone. And the rest of the series was solo instances. Took forever.

its still FAR easier.


so far theres only this bug found and its been fixed already. the other bugs have to do with quest flags getting bugged when updated, that bug would trigger even with different classes.

I've only tried Paladins yet, and I JUST started the new zone after doing the first artifact quest to get the very first one and first ability upgrade, so I can't speak to later quests in the class series. Let's hope the rest isn't like this or it's gonna be next Summer before I have all my teams done.

I'm so glad I'm only 3 boxing.. I'd have gone mad with 5!

It's not been too bad with my Gnome BM Hunters and Disc Priest. My x3 Belf Destro Locks on the other hand - urgh.

yeah i went from 3 to 5 halfway WoD and had fun for a while, now on legion i feel i should cut back down to 3 again.

macroing alts to auto mount on the mammoth mount made questing and phase changing SOO much easier.


so long "no flying" is enforced on legion anything over 3 kinda sucks.

not to mention doing the same scenario 5 times in a row is madness... cant imagine how the dudes with 5+ do it. the prophet vaalen scenario is reason enough to cut down to 5 accounts if you have over 5, and if you dont it will make want to have 3 instead.

I just started my second team..i went with my 5 Paly team because I want to try them as all prot based on what i have read here and the fact that my prot is doing double the dps of my rets at 100. I have no idea if the artifact will help the rets catch up.. but I have to try the 5 prot thing.. unfortunately I will have to wait until i get the quest to get the second spec artifact ( 102? ) I already speced them as holy trinity.
